Imagine The Bold and the Beautiful minus manipulative, scheming, controlling and to most of us, evil, Forrester matriarch, Stephanie. If you were Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang), that would be tantamount to paradise or nirvana. But for the soap's avid viewers, it could mean a gaping hole where the show's longest-serving and arguably most effective villain used to hold court.
Yes, it's true – fans of The Bold and the Beautiful must brace themselves for the inevitable departure of Susan Flannery, the lady who has breathed life into Stephanie Forrester for the last 20 years. The 68-year old actress has expressed her desire to retire soon, during a recent interview with an Australian news program.

It’s been a while since hunky Lorenzo Lamas was last seen on CBS’ The Bold and the Beautiful. For two years, Lamas portrayed firefighter Hector Ramirez on the daytime drama. Since leaving the show in 2006, the son of actors Arlene Dahl and Fernando Lamas has literally found his voice and taken a different path onstage.
The former Bold and the Beautiful co-star will appear in a series of performances showcasing both his newly-harnessed singing chops as well as his own brand of self-deprecating humor. Lamas will take the stage at the Colony Hotel in Palm Beach until March 2.

Ever since she first stepped into the glitz and glamour of The Bold and the Beautiful, Lesley-Anne Down has made the most of her role as Jacqueline “Jackie” Payne Marone. As Jackie, one of her extended fantasies has been to see her son Nick (Jack Wagner) live happily ever after with her favorite daughter-in-law, Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang). Yet another constant that crops up with frightening regularity seems to be Jackie's obsession with bathtub sequences.
Lesley-Anne Down spoke with Soap Opera Weekly about what it's been like playing bathtub bubble-friendly Jackie on The Bold and the Beautiful.

It seems his positive attitude and dogged determination are now paying off, with a nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Daytime Drama Series at the 39th Annual NAACP Image Awards.
