On season 11 of The Bachelor, Brad Womack came to California to find the woman of his dreams. A bar owner from Texas, he had been in some serious relationships but none that had managed to last. During his time on The Bachelor, he courted 25 women and narrowed them down to two: Jenni Croft and DeAnna Pappas. At the final rose ceremony, he dumped both women and decided to stay single. Rumors flew that he was involved with his ex and the backlash from the fans was harsh. There is no doubt that Brad is trying to escape his past but with Pappas as the new Bachelorette, that’s proving a lot tougher than he probably thought!

If last night’s season premiere of The Bachelorette taught us one thing, it’s this: Men are just as crazy as women. Give me a guy who’s desperate to find love and I’ll show you his crazy side. I thought the women were nuts on season 12 of The Bachelor when they chewed through cans, sing original songs, and hand over their underwear in order to grab Matt Grant’s attention. The men, however, lost their minds just as quickly when they laid eyes on DeAnna Pappas last night. They showed off their duck calls, their dancing skills, and their tiny underwear to try to get the oh-so-coveted first impression rose.

If anyone deserves to be ABC's new Bachelorette, it's DeAnna Pappas. After getting her heart broken on national television on season 11 of The Bachelor, by Brad Womack, DeAnna emerged a stronger and (surprisingly) happier person. She has stayed in touch with Jenni Croft from that season and, tonight, she'll come to help DeAnna narrow down the playing field of 25 men. ABC better have picked some hotties for her! Bonus points if they are smart, sensitive, loyal, and open with her. It's time for a special 2 hour episode as The Bachelorette unveils its fourth season premiere. I'll be updating all hour so keep refreshing and post your thoughts about this new crop of men!

A hefty number of men got in line for a chance to find love, or at least 15 minutes of fame, when they showed up for casting calls held for The Bachelorette at Tradition Square in Port St. Lucie, Florida on February 23.
The hopefuls filled out forms and made three-minute audition tapes explaining why they should earn a spot on the reality dating show, The Bachelorette, which is a spin-off of The Bachelor. Both shows follow the same format in which a man or woman is allowed the luxury of choosing a mate from a handful of suitors. Each week, the bachelor or bachelorette eliminates one candidate from the group.
