The fourth season of The 4400 began last month, with Billy Campbell returning as one of the series regulars. However, the 48-year-old actor apparently has been hoping to land a role in another television series in a different cable network.
Late last month, USA Network and SCI FI Channel President Bonnie Hammer told reporters that Campbell approached her in May, pleading for a role in the last season of the popular sci-fi series, Battlestar Galactica.

I was more than a bit concerned when I came into the fourth season of The 4400. The concept of the extra crispys seemed like a desperation move for The 4400. Formula tweaking. Would the original recipe be forgotten? Four episodes later, those concerns are just a distant memory as the show continues to dovetail these new elements into the classic overarching tale, heading for a new arch that can only be called apocalyptic both for the architecture of the show and the world it takes place in.

The 4400 returns to its mystical best with the third episode of its fourth season, “Audrey Parker’s Come and Gone.” Of the “Extra Crispy” centric episodes this was probably the best for many reasons. The idea of a different Promicin induced power a week seemed risky at first, with the assumption being that the tale of the “Original Recipe” 4400’s would be lost in the change of formula. “Audrey” proved that the soul of the original 4400 is still screaming through the mysteries of the new tales loud and clear.

In the fourth season premiere of The 4400, viewers were introduced to the new head of the National Threat Assessment Command (NTAC), and her name is Meghan Doyle. What the true extent of her role in the series has yet to be revealed, but the actress behind the character, Jenni Baird, was kind enough to offer some general details.
The Australian actress told TVGuide last week that she believes her character is “quite different from everybody else,” and that she is interested to see how people will react.

Where is Jordan Collier when you need him? Tonight’s The 4400 centers on a dad who gives his autistic son Promicin. Scenarios like that can only go bad, and sure enough, it does. The train-obsessed lad develops the unpleasant ability to make people see their worst fears, but because of his autism the power is stuck in the on position. Meanwhile, Diana (Jacqueline McKenzie) returns, Kyle’s (Chad Faust) power manifests, and Isabelle ( Megalyn Echikunwoke) finds out if her powers are permanently gone. Or are they?

When the current season of the sci-fi drama series was being filmed in May, executive producer Scott Peters took over the direction of an upcoming episode entitled “Till We Have Built Jerusalem.”
