Things are heating up over at Supernatural.  We've already heard news that Adrianne Palicki will return as Sam's dead girlfriend from the Pilot and news that Lucifer has been cast, but now comes more news that makes season 5 sound like it's getting back to basics.

Season 4 of Supernatural ended with Lucifer rising, and now, he's here.  Michael Ausiello from EW.com has confirmed that actor Mark Pellegrino will join Supernatural as the Devil.  Who is Mark Pellegrino, you ask?

Well, if you're a Lost fan, you certainly know him as Jacob, the shadowy ruler of the Island who finally appeared in the season5 finale, only to be killed off by Ben.  On that show I actually predicted that Jacob was the Devil, so it looks like I was right, only with the wrong show.

Very interesting news from EW's Michael Ausiello.  It turns out next season Friday Night Lights star Adrianne Palicki will return to Supernatural as Jessica, Sam's girlfriend who was killed by Azazel in the Pilot.

Exactly how or why Palicki will return is still anybody's guess.  Is this just another one of Sam's visions or memories he's had of her before?  Another dream sequence like in "What Is and What Never Should Be"?  Or is this something else entirely?

Now that we have a definitive end date to this summer hiatus for Supernatural (the show returns September 10), it's a little easier to make it through these long months without any new Sam and Dean.  Thankfully the CW Source recently posted a new video interview they did with Jensen Ackles at the Paley Center's annual golf tournament..

While the video doesn't have any huge revelations, it does reinforce the fans' love for the brotherly bonding Supernatural does so well, and it also shows off the scruffy beard Jensen is growing for the summer break.

It's time to mark your calendars, because the CW has announced the premiere dates for its fall shows.  As they did last season, the CW is bringing out most of its shows earlier than the other networks to try and earn some loyal viewers before they get a chance to see everything else.

The big news is that the CW has decided to switch its Monday shows, so now One Tree Hill will air at 8pm and Gossip Girl is being pushed back to 9pm.  The news is great for Gossip Girl, as now it's not up against House and Heroes., but instead against Lie to Me and the new drama Trauma.

I know you all have been dying to hear who will be at this year's Comic Con. I have some good news for all the Twilight and Supernatural fans out there. Although guest lists haven't been confirmed yet, both camps will be present for panels, which is no surprise. Other Comic Con essentials confirmed are Chuck, Lost, Fringe, True Blood, Smallville, Vampire Diaries, and the new Peter Jackson flick District 9.

He goes by many names.  The Devil, Satan, Lucifer, the Prince of Darkness, the Fallen Angel, Beelzebub, etc.  But no matter what you call him, he's one of the scariest villains you can think of.

Supernatural fans have reason to be excited today.  Even though the premiere of season 5 is far away, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles recently appeared at a European convention where they gave fans a lot of hope for Supernatural season 6.

Some people worried that a sixth season would result in a completely different show, but Jensen confirmed to the Coventry Telegraph that he and Jared both have six-year contracts for the show, meaning if CW president Dawn Ostroff picks up Supernatural for season 6, Sam and Dean will both be in it.
