I had been predicting for weeks that Dean would meet his maker in Supernatural's third season finale, so why was I so shocked and saddened when it actually happened? Maybe it's because creator Eric Kripke gave me a kernel of hope at the beginning of the episode, then cruelly ripped it away. Many Supernatural fans had predicted that Sam would find a way to save Dean by using his powers, and when that possibility was presented by Ruby (Katie Cassidy) I figured I knew where things were headed. I expected some sort of last minute save, and though it would have been a bit on the deus ex machina side of things, I was ready to welcome it. However, that didn't happen. Sam chose not to work with Ruby due to his brother's distrust of her, and Dean ended up dying because of it.
"No Rest for the Wicked" came to an end with Dean trapped in Hell and screaming for help. Where does the show go from here?

Previously on Supernatural: Dean sold his soul to save his brother's life. It turned out Sam's rival for dominion over the demon army, Lil Lillith, also happened to be the one holding the contract for Dean's soul.
The entire season is recapped accompanied by “Carry on My Wayward Son.” Wow, even the “previously on” package is awesome. The Supernatural season finale begins with Dean (Jensen Ackles) running through the woods trying to escape the Hell Hounds. Thankfully, it's just a dream. Sam shows up, saying Uncle Bobby has a lead on Lillith. It's T-minus 30 hours until Dean's soul is due, so it's the perfect time for a donkey show joke. Sam swears he won't let Dean got to Hell.

The CW announced its fall schedule today and it features all good-looking people. I suppose one could make the argument that all television features good-looking people, but not to the extreme extent that the CW has taken it. You see, most of the CW's Fall schedule not only features good-looking people, the series themselves are about those people being good-looking, or at least it's a very important part of the series. There are three hours of new programming on the CW's Fall schedule, one of which may include the most highly-anticipated new series going into next season.
Before any Reaper fans go ballistic and worry about why the series isn't on the Fall schedule, don't worry. The CW has ordered 13 episodes of Reaper, which will hit the air at mid-season. There's a very good chance that it will take over Smallville's time slot at some point, but nothing is set in stone.

Like most fans, I find myself feeling both excited and scared as we move closer to Supernatural's third season finale. I'm excited because I know that the show always delivers a fantastic season ender, but I'm frightened by the prospect of Dean's time running out. Will he go to Hell, or will he escape the deal at the last minute? Perhaps an even more important question is: Will the writers wrap everything up before the episode comes to a close, or will we be left with a terrible cliffhanger to mull over all summer?
To get fans prepared for Thursday night's season finale, entitled "No Rest for the Wicked," we have two exciting clips from the episode.

Making a deal with a demon never seems to end well, but that doesn't stop the characters on Supernatural from forging shady pacts with otherworldly monsters. We've already seen John and Dean sacrifice their souls to save their loved ones, and in last week's installment, "Time is On My Side," we learned that Bela (Lauren Cohan) tossed away her soul in order to have her parents murdered. Much to the delight of Supernatural fans the world over, things didn't end very well for Bela either.
There are plenty of demon deals to go around, but as we move toward the season finale Dean's is obviously at the forefront. What can the Winchester boys do now that they know Lilith holds Dean's contract?

Previously on Supernatural: A crocotta played a mean trick on Dean, making him think he got a call from his Dead Dad John with insider tips on how to get out of his deal. It was a hoax, and time continues to run out as Sam and Dean desperately search for a way out.
In the appropriately named Erie, Pennsylvania, some hot shot plastic surgeon is shoved in his car trunk. Later we see the surgeon return to the hospital, severely injured. He opens his jacket to a nurse who's “seen everything,” and she screams in horror when his insides spill out of him.

All good things must come to an end and Supernatural is no exception. The series has attracted a solid fan following and has performed consistently in the ratings, but sooner or later, fans will have to bid farewell to the good-looking Winchester boys. The question is: when will it end?
Supernatural, which stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, is presently in its third season, finishing off the remaining new episodes after the two-month hiatus that was caused by the writers' strike. After that, fans still have 22 new episodes to look forward to, knowing that the series has already been given an early renewal by The CW for a fourth season. While the paranormal series may still come back for another run, the fifth season may also be its last.

Last week's episode of Supernatural left me with the impression that Dean may be destined to go to Hell. The Winchesters have explored every possible option to break Dean's contract over the course of season 3, and so far they've come up with nothing. Bobby can't help, Ruby (Katie Cassidy) can't help, and it's doubtful that John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will be returning from the grave with a last minute save anytime soon. The only person who may be able to help is Lilith, and she doesn't seem like the friendly, approachable type.
This Thursday's penultimate episode of the season, "Time Is On My Side," brings Bela back for what may be the final time. Will she offer up some answers, or is Dean doomed? To get fans ready for the new hour of Supernatural, we have two clips from the episode.
