Isaac Hayes is dead. The songwriter and musical pioneer was 65. He was found collapsed next to a treadmill by his wife, and later declared dead at a hospital near his home in Tennessee. The cause of death is still unknown. Hayes was a prolific songwriter and performer, and began his career as a member of the 1960's group Sam and Dave, who were known for their hit “Soul Man.” In the 1970's, Hayes was at the forefront of the Disco movement. Hayes' wrote and recorded the “Theme from Shaft” in 1971, and was rewarded with two Grammys and one Oscar (for Best Original Song). Hayes most recently found acclaim as voice actor on South Park, where he voiced the character of Chef for much of the series. Hayes was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.

If you haven't had enough of the ‘cheesing' sequences on the hugely popular South Park episode ‘Major Boobage,' then all you have to do is go to southparkstudios.com and take an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of how the special episode was made, thanks to its creators and Comedy Central.
‘Major Boobage,' an episode on South Park's 12th season, took eight weeks to complete, eight times longer than a normal episode. They used traditional animation, in order to make it resemble the film Heavy Metal whenever someone would go into ‘cheese' state. For instance, Kenny's car during his sequences is an actual 3D model.

Given the day, it seems only appropriate that we would pay respect to the most laid back, easy-going group of all: the stoners. April 20 is as close as we come to having a Nation Weed Smoking Day in this country, so what better way to celebrate here at BuddyTV than to reflect on our favorite pot-smoking television characters. Well, I imagine you could think of one or two better ways.
For this list, we've put together five of our favorite television characters with reefer madness. Sure, there are many characters who've experimented, such as Seth Cohen from The O.C. or Ross on Friends, but for this list, we wanted honest-to-God, red-blooded, bong lovers. And indeed, we've found characters who all have a need...a need for weed.

Sick and tired of having to download their own show illegally all the time, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have come up with a legal alternative in the form of an all new Southparkstudios.com. The show runners have teamed up with Comedy Central to bring forth a website that features free, streaming, full-length episodes and clips from the entire 12 seasons of the Emmy and Peabody Award-winning animated series.
"Southparkstudios.com is a true representation of Matt and Trey's vision and is the ultimate online destination for South Park fans allowing them full access to every South Park episode ever created," MTV networks' entertainment group president Doug Herzog said in a statement.

On the season 12 opener of South Park, Eric Cartman is afflicted with HIV after a routine tonsillectomy went horribly wrong. The doctors advise the boys, consisting of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Butters, to treat Cartman normally, although when an AIDS benefit was held for Cartman, hardly anyone attends. Cartman berates Kyle, Stan and Kenny for not coming to his benefit and decides to teach Kyle a lesson by injecting Kyle with some of his HIV infected blood. Following their squabble, Cartman and Kyle take matters into their own hands hoping to find a possible cure with the help of Magic Johnson, who's been living with HIV for about “50 years.” At the end of the episode, they come up with a theory that sleeping with money every night might just be the cure. They distill Magic's cash down into a concentrated form, inject it into their bodies and the boys are cured.
Expect another round of laughs and antics in tonight's episode called "Britney's New Look." Read on for a preview.
