Today FOX officially announced its schedule for the 2009-2010 TV season, and some of the changes are huge.  Aside from the great news that Dollhouse will be coming back for a second season, the other big story is that So You Think You Can Dance, which premieres its fifth season this Thursday, will air in the Fall as well for an immediate sixth season.The So You Think You Can Dance move is unusual, but helps to balance out the schedule since FOX has American Idol in the Spring.  It also gives FOX the chance to do direct competition with Dancing with the Stars, a show that in recent seasons has taken several professional from former SYTYCD contestants.More Fall Lineups:FOXABCNBCCBSThe CW Read more »
Fox has released its midseason schedule, announcing return dates for American Idol and 24, and the series finale of Dollhouse, as well as return dates for Fringe and Glee.American Idol returns for its ninth season with a two-night premiere on Tuesday, January 12, from 8pm-10pm. A second show airs the following day, January 13, from 8pm-9pm. Idol will then air every Tuesday, also from 8pm.  Read more »
First announced as a midseason replacement for American Dad! Sons of Tucson comes Former Malcolm in the Middle star Justin Berfield. On the show, a mother leaves a family in their house in Tucson. With their dad in prison, they hire Ron (Tyler Labine) to be their father. At first, they boys just need a father in specific situations, but then they find they have to keep Ron around because he is needed a lot.Sons of Tucson was canceled by Fox after only four episodes.
