As mentioned previously, HBO has pushed back some of its most anticipated shows to the fall.  As a result of the writers' strike, the fifth season of Entourage has been delayed while Big Love season 3 and the return of Flight of the Conchords are off until 2009.  Now, the network has set premiere dates for Entourage and for two new series next season, hinting an end to a long fallow period for original series at the channel.

The fifth season of Entourage will kick off on September 7 and will feature a new roster of guest stars, including Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, Giovanni Ribisi, and Kevin Pollak.  Additionally, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, best known for her role on The Sopranos, has also been cast for several episodes of the new season.

Mathew St. Patrick was popularly known for playing Keith Charles on the award-winning HBO series Six Feet Under.  His character was an openly gay Los Angeles police officer that was also noted for being the tempestuous lover of David Fisher (Michael C. Hall).  Prior to his sudden death, which was revealed on the obituary at the end of the series, he was able to establish his own security company, adopted two sons, and after many hurdles, ended up marrying David. In the coming months, the 39-year-old actor will be gracing the big screen with several flicks and will be returning on the small screen with a new pilot.

As Claire Fisher on HBO's Six Feet Under, Lauren Ambrose was known as the youngest child of Nathaniel and Ruth Fisher (Frances Conroy). Exposed to the family-run mortuary, she grew up with vivid fantasies and visions of dead people, just like other characters on the show.  Although the most creative in the family, she was considered as rebellious and struggled with drugs and bad relationships.  In the final montage of the show, it was suggested that she became a photographer and a teacher who ended up marrying Ted Fairwell (Chris Messina) before passing away in 2085.  At present, the 29-year-old actress already has a son with photographer husband Sam Handel and still remains active in the entertainment industry with her upcoming projects.
