After nine episodes of Shear Genius, the hairstyling reality program finally crowned Anthony Morrison as the winner of the competition. "I'm so happy to be Shear Genius... I can't even put it into words. It means so much," the 40-year-old England-native said after his victory was announced.
Shear Genius premiered on April 11, 2007 and took the viewers behind the scenes to chronicle the hairstyling events leading to a fashion show or a big event. For nearly two months, 12 contestants were put through challenges and weekly eliminations until a winner was determined. Hosted by Jaclyn Smith, the show also included judges like Sally Hershberger, Michael Carl with Rene Fris as the mentor.

Bravo's latest reality series Shear Genius kicks off next Wednesday after the season finale of Top Design. Hosting the new series is actress and designer Jaclyn Smith, who was part of a press conference this morning where she answered questions about her own personal style, gave out hair advice and discussed her favorite upcoming episode.

Lather, Rinse, Compete! Bravo kicks off its new reality competition series, Shear Genius on Wednesday April 11 at 11/10c. Twelve aspiring stylists will go head-to-head in a series of challenges that will test their skill, talent and creativity while putting them one step closer to the ultimate title as "Shear Genius." The winner will receive $100,000 seed money from Nexxus and a chance to style hair for an Allure magazine feature.
The one-hour eight-episode series is hosted by award-winning actress and designer Jaclyn Smith, with judges celebrity hairstylist and designer Sally Hershberger and Michael Carl, fashion director of Allure magazine. Stylist Rene Fris serves as the salon manager.
