HBO's Sex and the City focuses on four female characters who are deeply involved in the drama and comedy of their lives. It features Carrie Bradshaw as the narrator of each episode and a column writer for a broadsheet newspaper, Charlotte York, an utterly conventional art dealer, Miranda Hobbes, a career-minded lawyer and Samantha Jones, a publicist and independent career woman. These four girls are best friends who go through relationship struggles and at the end of the day, still stand as the independent woman.
