After playing Horatio Caine's (David Caruso) ex-lover, Julia Winston, on CBS' hit procedural drama CSI: Miami, Elizabeth Berkley makes her way into yet another TV series. This time, she'll be joining the cast of Showtime's The L Word for a multi-episode arc.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Berkley will be appearing on The L Word as a straight girl that got away from Jennifer Beals' character Bette Porter in college.

Fans can expect a cluster of fresh series heading to TNT in the coming months, ensuring a nearly continuous thread of originals on the network into 2009. Along with returning series such as The Closer and Saving Grace, both of which kicks off this week, news shows like Raising the Bar, Leverage and Trust Me will contribute in attaining the goal of having all original programming on three nights of the week by 2010.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar got his breakthrough role as Zack Morris on the series Saved by the Bell, which spawned from the series Good Morning, Miss Bliss. He portrayed a charming schemer who was popularly known for his penchant for betting and manipulation. As a student of Bayside High School, he was actively involved in extracurricular activities such as sports clubs, music gigs, class field trips and dances. His circle of friends mainly consisted of Kelly Kapowski, Samuel "Screech" Powers, A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez), Jessie Spano, and Lisa Turtle. Apart from his antics, he was also known for his numerous flames throughout the series, including Kelly Kapowski, Stacy Corosi and Tori Scott. Despite his slacker reputation, he was able to gain admission to Yale but decided to attend California University instead, along with the rest of his friends. In the coming months, the 33-year-old actor will be featured on a television drama pilot.

Lark Voorhies was popularly known for portraying Lisa Turtle on Saved by the Bell, a role she originally played on the NBC pilot Good Morning, Miss Bliss. She portrayed the rich and intelligent gossip queen of Bayside High. Because of her upbringing, she always had access to the latest trends, making her the clique's fashion expert. She was also one of Zack's best friends since grade school, just like Jessie and Screech. Throughout the show, Screech's futile attempts to woo her became one of the running gags of the series. Towards the end, she got accepted into the Fashion Institute of Technology, making her goal to become a world famous fashion designer within reach. Next year, the 33-year-old actress will be marking her return on the big screen.
