"Married in beautiful Yosemite Valley, California today," said a brief statement that was posted on Saturday on the official website of comedian Chris Kattan. The 37-year-old actor, who appeared on Saturday Night Live from 1996 to 2003, tied the knot to fiancé of 18 months, Sunshine Tutt.
As confirmed on his website, the couple exchanged vows in an intimate event with a few guests including his Saturday Night Live co-stars Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon, Amy Poehler, and Tina Fey.

The list of acting finalists for this year's Emmy Awards is nearly complete thanks to Tom O'Neil at Gold Derby. He has already uncovered all the major Drama categories, and now he has both Supporting Actor and Actress categories on the Comedy side. The lists are largely dominated by NBC, thanks to three apiece for past Emmy champions The Office and 30 Rock.

Earlier this week the world lost one of its sharpest comedic talents when George Carlin passed away at the age of 71. Known for his political and black humor, his taboo routines led to international fame, as did his many TV appearances, film roles, best-selling books and Grammy winning comedy albums.
To honor the legendary and groundbreaking comic, two networks that have been with him during his many years of performing will be airing tributes this week. HBO, which aired 14 specials showcasing George Carlin's unedited routines, along with NBC's Saturday Night Live will show off the performer in his prime to help his many fans commemorate his long and eventful life.

Comedian George Carlin passed away Sunday evening due to apparent heart trouble, according to his publicist. The stand-up comic was 71-years-old. According to his publicist Jeff Abraham, Carlin went to St. John's Health Center in Los Angeles Sunday afternoon complaining of chest pain. He was later pronounced dead at 5:55pm.

The siblings of Chris Farley, Saturday Night Live cast member who was also credited for films like Beverly Hills Ninja, Airheads, Wayne's World and Billy Madison, have decided to come up with a project that will feature many of the late comedian's friends and colleagues from Saturday Night Live.
Hollywood and Wine, the title of the new satire project, revolves around a Hollywood chef and an aspiring actress who get caught in a get-rich quick scheme that results in mistaken identify and a run-in with the mob. The comedy is collaborated by Kevin Farley, younger brother John Farley and his wife, Jennifer Farley with Matt Berman serving as writer and co-director.

The 45-year-old actor has greatly established himself as one of the most sought-after comedians in Hollywood nowadays, scoring numerous awards and continuously landing film projects until 2010. Soon, he will return to television where many of his iconic characters started. On June 15 at 9pm on NBC, he'll be introducing his most memorable sketches in front of a live studio audience as Saturday Night Live presents “The Best of Mike Myers.”

ABC is still filling up roles for its latest fall comedy pilot, Bad Mother's Handbook. So far, it has already recruited Alicia Silverstone, best known for her Valley girl-type of role in the movie Clueless, Megan Mullally, who catapulted to stardom for playing Karen Walker on Will & Grace, and Alia Shawkat, who is credited for her role as Maeby Funke on Arrested Development. Now, the show has signed up yet anther cast member and he comes in the form of Saturday Night Live alum Horatio Sanz.
