Since winning in Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, the four ladies of the band have been appearing in various events to promote their upcoming album, which hits retail stores in July 1.  The girls have sung the National Anthem for the Galaxy earlier this month and have completed their second Like Me Webisode, which featured a behind-the-scenes look at the girls as they discuss their melodies, style, lyrics and choreography.

Who says Girlicious has stolen the glam crown from the Pussycat Dolls?  Fans get ready because the Dolls are in fact heading back to stage with a brand new album that‘s coming up in the next few months.  The band‘s lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger, reportedly put her struggling solo career on hold while the sexy girl band got back together to create their sophomore album.  In fact,

We haven’t heard much from the Pussycat Dolls after their smash hit and self-titled debut album came out and featured radio-friendly hits such as “Dontcha,” “Stick Wit U,” “Buttons,” and “Beep” way back in 2005.  Since then, the girls have released hit after hit, and fans couldn’t wait for their sophomore album to come around.  Due to the success of their debut album, the Dolls were able to tour the world, and come 2007, PDC lead singer Nicole Scherzinger was given a chance to go solo as an artist.  She was able to release singles “Whatever You Like” and the more popular “Baby Love,” but was never able to release a full length album.  To this date, her official website says that the album, entitled “Her Name is Nicole,” is “coming soon.”
