Psych revolves around Shawn Spencer, who has cultivated a talent that enables him to remember even the smallest details. This talent started at an early age with the encouragement of his father who was a policeman. Shawn begins to advise the local police department on cases, and they regard him as someone with psychic abilities, which is of course built upon his amazing memory to details.
