We won't know until Wednesday night which of the four remaining Project Runway 5 designers – Korto Momolu, Jerell Scott, Leanne Marshall, and Kenley Collins – will make it to the final competition. But one thing is certain: many viewers felt that the judges' non-decision decision last week was a cop-out.
Despite Jerell's win and Leanne's coming in second, they are both back on the hot seat along with Korto and Kenley to compete for one of the spots in the finale runway show. What could happen on this episode of Project Runway 5?

This week on Project Runway 5, we learned that this season, we’ll have not one but TWO final challenges to determine who gets to go to fashion week. Why? Well, why not, I suppose. It was such a fug parade last night on the runway, maybe the judges just decided to give the contestants a chance to do a do-over. Like maybe next time, at the least, the designers could run a steamer over their outfit before sending it down the runway?
So no one, it would appear, was at their best last night. However, last night showed that this Project Runway season is not, as I’ve been asserting, drama-free. Rather, it’s just drama-concentrated. All into one episode. The ganging-up-on! The tears! Who knew this group had it in them? So I’ll give them some points for poignancy, but for the fashions last night? A rap on the knuckles all around.

On last night’s episode of Project Runway, the final four designers were taken to the New York Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful places in the city. There, they were given a camera and one hour to take photos in order to gain inspiration for an evening gown. When they returned to Parsons, they had just 30 minutes to choose a single photo to work off of. After the runway show, the judges gave their highest scores to Jerell and Leanne, with the lowest scores going to Korto and Kenley. The panel could not decide who to eliminate, so they came to the conclusion that all four should go home and work on their collections but only three would make it to Bryant Park. This surprising move left Project Runway fans wondering: Is this fair?

On tonight's episode of Project Runway, it's a high pressure situation for the final four contestants because only three are moving on to New York Fashion Week. After last week's model swap, Korto decides to stick with Katarina and doesn't ruffle anyone's feathers. Heidi tells the designers to head to the lobby to meet with Tim for a little field trip. Who doesn't love field trips? They arrive at the New York Botanical Garden, where the meet up with Collier Strong, the consulting makeup artist for L'Oreal Paris. For their challenge, the designers will have to construct an evening gown inspired by nature. Everyone was given a camera and one hour to explore the garden and come up with some inspiration.

While six designers showed at Fashion Week this season of Project Runway 5, only three of them actually were still in the competition. This is the week we learn which of this season's contestants are actually our final three.
The four still in the running are Korto Momolu, who has an effortlessly sophisticated, modern and glamorous sensibility; Leanne Marshall, who also seems quite modern, with an occasional unexpected twist; Jerell Scott, who's been up and down, but who occasionally hits the nail on the head with his mix and match textures; and young Ms. Sassafras Kenley Collins, whose insistence on going retro sometimes muddies what seems to be some underlying serious creative talent. So who might be left after tomorrow's episode of Project Runway?

Lately it seems that Project Runway is making news more for its possible move to Lifetime than its current season on Bravo. Back in April, The Weinstein Company announced they were moving the show to Lifetime beginning with season 6, but NBC Universal, who owns Bravo, isn't willing to let the show go without a fight. They claim that the Weinstein Company is violating their contract rights, and the two companies have been battling in court ever since.
Last week, NBC Universal scored a major victory in the fight over Project Runway. TV Guide is reporting that a New York court agreed to temporarily block the reality series from airing on Lifetime, which has put the network's plans to launch season 6 on hold.

Project Runway 5 designer Suede wasn't always, obviously, always called Suede. He was born Stephen Whitney Baum near Cleveland, OH, to an engineer dad and physicist mom.
Fashion wasn't always first on Suede's list either. While he says he was always called to the Big Apple, Suede's original plan to hit the big time was to work as an actor. But as we saw on Project Runway 5, fabric soon became his moniker and his calling. Let's take a look back at the recently auf'd designer.

It's tough to forget Project Runway's season 5 designer, Suede. Besides his unique look, he spoke in the 3rd person throughout the season and brought a lighthearted attitude towards the design competition. In recent weeks, Suede has slipped and found himself in the bottom more times than he would like. On last night's episode, the musical genre challenge became his undoing and he was sent home. Though he didn't make the final 3, he still got to show at Fashion Week and today, he spoke to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview about his experiences there and on the show!
Below, you will find the complete transcript and mp3 of the interview.
