June 30, 2009

It's been a few weeks since Michael Scofield said his final farewells in the Prison Break series finale, and everyone wondering what Wentworth Miller would do next can rest, for now.  Today TV Guide Magazine confirmed that Miller will be guest starring on the season premiere of Law and Order: SVU, an episode that airs Wednesday, September 23 at 9pm on NBC.

Chris Vance Snags 'Burn Notice' Guest Role

June 29, 2009

Well, since Mental somehow seems like it's doomed to fail after the Friday night move, might as well find yourself a fallback, eh?  Chris Vance has done one such move, by getting himself a guest role on the USA Network's Burn Notice.

June 9, 2009

Three more actors have been given guest slots on the HBO series Entourage, including one for Prison Break star William Fichtner.

Prison Break: Jodi Lyn O'Keefe Laments The "Very Very Slow" Industry

June 8, 2009

Now that Prison Break's all but over--well, it's done, but there's still that DVD, in case you've been waiting to buy it, or haven't seen it online--it's time to ask about what the show's cast have been up to.  First sneaks, this time, goes to Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, or that scary Gretchen girl; in an interview she reveals a bit about what she's been up to after the show, and perhaps a few details on "The Final Break"... provided we pretend we haven't seen it yet.

Anyway.  What's she up to?  "Right now, I'm just scrambling for work, trying to find a project that I love and that I'm into and get back in the saddle again," she said.  "I finished Prison Break and I did a guest star on The Big Bang Theory and it's been about a month or so, since I've stopped working.  I'm just reading scripts and looking for TV or some kind of film work right now.  The industry is very very slow."

Heroes: T-Bag, Darth Maul Get Season 4 Roles

June 4, 2009

Looks like Heroes is getting injected with a lot--a hell lot.  Four names have been thrown into the pot and set to play roles in the upcoming fourth season of the show.

First up is a familiar villain, at least to those who have seen Prison Break: Robert Knepper has signed on to play Samuel, previous referred to as the "Carnival Barker" in previous releases.  For at least six episodes, we'll see this charismatic guy wreck havoc on all the heroes by peeking into all of their lives.  That, and he's evil, and he's got a very wicked sense of humor.

'Prison Break' Guest-Star Lori Petty Arrested

May 31, 2009

Actress Lori Petty, who plays the character called Daddy in the hit series Prison Break, was incarcerated last Saturday night.  She was charged with a felony DUI, hitting a 14-year-old skateboarder while in Venice, California.

The accident occurred at around nine in the evening, with police arriving with paramedics at 9:30.  Later on, the teenage victim was treated and eventually released.  The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department explained that the DUI became a felony charge for the 45-year-old Petty because there was an injury involved.

Prison Break: Wentworth Miller to 'Bioshock'?

May 28, 2009

Sure, Prison Break is over, and we all know what happened.  And sure, you've probably heard of this, but I'll tease anyway.  Wentworth Miller's long been rumored to appear in the flick Bioshock, the celluloid take on the video game that's supposed to get out by next year.  And then, it seems, a confirmation of sorts.

"Prison Break may be ending, but I've got things in the works," he wrote on his Twitter page.  "Hint... one word: Bioshock."

Does that mean... just that?

Prison Break: Assessing the (Leaked) "Final Break"

May 27, 2009

For a moment, let's return to the events of the Prison Break finale.  Michael was successful at bringing down the Company, but not without the casualties, in this case, his mother Christina.  Kellerman returns and gets everyone out of their loopholes--well, all but T-Bag, who was imprisoned for everything he's done.  Four years later, Mahone's got a new wife, and Sara's given birth to her son.  And Michael, as we all know, died.  We should also remember that there is a feature-length episode, "The Final Break", that will be released on DVD in July, and it will explain everything that happened in those four years, including Michael's death.  The catch is, that one's been leaked online.

Well, not exactly.  "The Final Break" was, surprisingly, aired in other countries.  Originally composed of two episodes--"The Odd Ball and Chain" and "Free"--it was first aired in Israel, which was the version that leaked, and will be aired in the UK tonight.  For obvious purposes I shall talk about what happened in those episodes, although I won't leak as many details, because technically we already know what happened.  But that won't stop me from posting this warning: there are possible spoilers up ahead, so unless you've seen it or are planning to buy the DVD, skip this part now!
