On Friday's episode of One Life to Live, an uncomfortable Gigi (Farah Fath) hid her feelings for Rex (John-Paul Lavoisier) as she watched him and Shane (Austin Williams) bond over a video game. On the other hand, she's happy to have been offered a job as Natalie's (Melissa Archer) assistant at Buchanan Enterprises.
Clint (Jerry ver Dorn) and Bo (Robert S. Woods) met with Virgil, who smugly made it known that he is very capable of bringing down Asa's empire. After Bo's angry departure, Clint used the information Lindsay (Catherine Hickland) gave him about Virgil (William Whitehead) in order to blackmail him into leaving the company alone. Clint then celebrated with Bo and Natalie, but did not tell them how he accomplished the deed.
Nora (Hillary B. Smith) became the bearer of bad news when she told Antonio (Kamar de los Reyes) and Cristian (David Fumero) that the FBI is freezing his assets.

Addie Cramer has spent the past 15 years at St. Ann's, which is why it was such a shock to see her on Christmas Eve, seemingly well, normal and completely up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and styles. Actress Pamela Payton-Wright, who originated the One Life to Live character in the 1992, admits she's still getting used to the sudden turn-around, as well as being back onscreen on a recurring basis.
"I would say I've learned more in the past six weeks than I did in 15 years because it was like barnstorming, there was so much done,” Payton-Wright told Soap Opera Digest. “I'd say nine cases out of 10, I have my back to the camera — I don't know where the camera is. I don't understand it! Where is the audience?”

On last Friday's One Life to Live, Michael (Chris Stack) pulled out all the stops in an effort to convince Marcie (Kathy Brier) to surrender. Todd (Trevor St. John) told Viki (Erika Slezak) that he could have handled Tommy's kidnapping better and took responsibility for how things turned out.
Meanwhile, Gigi (Farah Fath) was arrested for helping Marcie. Jared (John Brotherton) grew suspicious of Jessica's (Bree Williamson) claims that she truly is Tess, and in order to test the validity of her claims, kissed her. Starr (Kristen Alderson) called Adriana (Melissa Fumero) a traitor for hiding the truth about Tommy's paternity, and refused to assist Dorian (Robin Strasser) in planning Adriana's wedding.

Grief has become a binding factor for One Life to Live's Langston (Brittany Underwood) and Cole (Brandon Buddy). However, while their common experience of loss has given them the opportunity to be a source of comfort for one another, it has also excluded their friend Starr (Kristen Alderson). The tension between the three will only continue to build, what with Langston and Cole attending grief counseling.
“When I read the script I got a little chill, like, "Ugh, I would not like that, either," Alderson told Soap Opera Weekly, referring to Starr's exclusion from grief counseling. “But it's good stuff and really interesting to see how Starr has a whole bunch of emotions about it. She's going through a tough time.”
