Here, we posed the question of what Ziva (Cote de Pablo) was doing in a Moroccan bar on the season premiere of NCIS. The release of some pictures show Ziva in a body-hugging, backless number singing, it seems, in a dark bar. Previously, NCIS executive producer Shane Brennan assured fans that this question will be answered in the premiere. In a recent interview, de Pablo divulged that it was the whole singing-in-a-smoky-Moroccan-bar idea was a brainchild of Brennan himself.
“They've been toying with the idea for maybe two years of having Zita sing,” said de Pablo. “From the beginning, I said, 'No way.' I think literally you'd be jumping the shark. What else do we have left here? Let's make the character tap dance and sing ... Then Shane (Brennan) clearly put it in a way I couldn't resist.”

The ratings powerhouses are starting to arrive this fall. After CSI: Miami yesterday, it's NCIS' turn to grace our TV sets and finally assuage the fans of the procedural who have waited all these weeks for the premiere. Of course, central to the agenda is whether the new team of Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will work out just as well as the disbanded old team.
According to CBS, the season 6 premiere slated tonight is called “Last Man Standing.” The episode will follow the murder of a Naval Petty Officer and how it is somehow connected to the shocking shakeup the team underwent toward the end of last season. “Last Man Standing” will clue us in on the details of how exactly is newly appointed Directed Vance (Rocky Carroll) connected to the case.

Premiering exactly a week from now is the sixth season of NCIS. Now NCIS fans aren't exactly the happiest in the world given the whirlwind of changes the cast has experienced of late. Three new people become part of Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) team, after Ziva (Cote de Pablo), Tony (Michael Weatherly), and Tim (Sean Murray) are shipped to far-away places. Contrary to perception, the three are still with the show, although they, needless to say, will get considerably less screen time than Gibbs' new team: Brent (Jonathan LaPaglia), Michelle (Liza Lapira), and Daniel (Jonathan Mangum).
That being said, earning the ire of a lot of NCIS fans is Vance (Rocky Carroll) who not only was responsible for breaking the team up, but was also seen destroying a page of his personal file before doing that. Now, remember that Vance replaced Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly), another favorite character who was killed in the season 5 finale (yet another change).

The release of some controversial pictures from NCIS September 23 premiere had every die-hard NCIS fan utterly obsessed at how things would on the show. Yet what particularly caught a lot of people's attention was that of a scantily clad Ziva (Cote de Pablo) in what appears to be a dark bar. NCIS executive producer Shane Brennan sort of answered the question on everyone's mind without giving too much to spoil the premiere.
"Without giving away too many secrets, the answer to why Ziva is dressed in a sexy, backless dress and singing in a smoky bar will be answered in the opening moments of the season 6 premiere, so fans won't have to wait long to find out the 'why' of it,” he said.
