Jordana Spiro has appeared on a number of television series and movies. But among all her acting gigs, she has immensely made herself known on the series My Boys as PJ Franklin, a 20-something professional sportswriter looking for love within her world, which is dominated by her group of male friends.
Although she plays a sports columnist for the Chicago cubs on My Boys, Spiro didn't really know anything about sports when she was cast for the lead role.

As cable networks are poised to bring back shows and introduce new ones this coming summer season, much traffic can be expected on the small screen. Competition is also tight, with a number of shows being reshuffled and pitted against one another, all trying to capture a significant viewer count.
Because of the clogged scheduling, the networks have come up with different marketing strategies in order to entice the audience to tune in to their respective shows. In an effort to promote the comedy series, My Boys, TBS is sending out “Wing Man Vans” to various bar-heavy places. The promotion will provide the free service of a “wing man,” a person intended to help his friend pick up a woman.
