Mad Men concluded its third season with the birth of a new advertising agency while a lot of characters were left in the wind. It was a huge step for series creator Matthew Weiner to hit the reset button since Sterling Cooper will no longer be the fundamental setting of the series but that was all part of his original plan.

Things may have ended on a sour note for Don Draper‘s marriage as Mad Men wraps up its third season but things are look brighter than ever on the business front at least. After being told by Conrad Hilton that ad agency McCann Erickson is buying Puttnam, Powell, and Lowe -- and Sterling Cooper along with it, Don informs Cooper about the sale and proposes that they buy Sterling Cooper themselves. In the end, most of the show‘s main characters, including Pete, Harry, Peggy, Roger and Joan, have joined Don to start a new agency. And thus, Sterling Cooper Draper Price is born.

Don Draper is clearly becoming hungry for overtime work mainly because working overtime means hooking up with Suzanne Farrell. We all saw it coming ever since they met in "The Fog" and it all became lucid in last week‘s episode of Mad Men.

The moment we all knew was coming happened on last week‘s episode of Mad Men: Henry kissed Betty and she kissed him back!  Sadly, this happened while Don was trying to be a good husband to her by taking her to Rome and even buying her a souvenir gold Colosseum bracelet charm. And it looks like it would take some time before she gets consumed by guilt as she immerses herself more in politics in the episode "Wee Small Hours."

What‘s in store for Don now that he‘s signed the Sterling contract? We find out tonight on Mad Men in the episode called "Souvenir."But before anything else, here‘s a quick recap of what happened last week: Conrad Hilton wants Don to handle Hilton‘s three New York City properties and Roger, Cooper, and Lane congratulate Don but warns him that there‘s a hitch. Connie‘s lawyers want Don under contract to Sterling Cooper to ensure continuity so Lane hands Don a three-year contract. In attempt to convince a reluctant Don, who believes that "no contract means I have all the power," Roger calls Betty to encourage her husband to sign which eventually leads to an argument between Don and Betty. In the end, though, Don decides to sign the contract.
