Jaimie Alexander, who plays Jessi XX on ABC Family's Kyle XY, is an up-and-coming talent. Alexander has only been in Hollywood for a few years, yet has been featured in various commercials, television series, and films. Coming from Texas, Alexander's trip to Hollywood was a happy fluke and her role as Jessi XX is a big step on Jaimie's way to big things in the entertainment world. Jaimie stopped by BuddyTV last week to discuss her career beginnings, her pivotal role as Jessi XX on Kyle XY, and what she's got coming up in the future.

Actors Matt Dallas and Bruce Thomas are currently co-starring in ABC Family’s Kyle XY, but the two are also about to appear in a new thriller called Babysitter Wanted.
Big Screen Entertainment Group (BSEG), the production company behind the venture, wrapped up principal photography last November. At present, the film is in post-production.

The second season premiere of ABC Family’s sci-fi drama series, Kyle XY, scored high in the ratings chart, with fans trying to find answers to unresolved issues raised in the previous season.
The debut season of Kyle XY followed its lead character, Kyle, as he tried to gain some insight as to why he woke up with no memory of his past and no knowledge of his true identity. He had to learn how to be human, starting with fundamental activities such as eating, drinking and communicating with others.

The second season of Kyle XY debuted with an impressive viewer count, having brought in a total of 2.2 million viewers. It equaled the previous season’s viewer average, but was well above the average in adults 18-34 and women 18-49.
The show, which is headlined by 24 year-old actor Matt Dallas, tells the story of a teenager who finds himself with no memory of his past after waking up in the forest outside Seattle, Washington. He then attempts to comprehend the mysteries surrounding his existence, which includes not having a belly button and not being able to remember living life as a child.

Can you tell us how you got into acting?
Yeah, when I was really, really little, I think I was like three or something, I was watching TV and I told my parents that I wanted to do “that.” And they were like, “You want to do what?” And I was like, “That!” And they were like, “What, do you want to eat the cereal? What do you want to do?” And I was like, “I want to do that!” And after guess after guess they finally got out of me that I wanted to be on TV and they were like “You want to be on TV?” I’m like, “Yeah, I want to do that!”
