Jessi survives the fall and Tom Foss finds Kyle stunned after Jessi's leap. He tells Kyle to go home to the Tragers, to whom Kyle confesses about his existence. He comes up with a plan to bring down Madacorp, but his plan is threatened when he finds out that Jessi had survived and is dying to give up the stolen information. Kyle and Jessi communicate telepathically and together block the CIR, which forces them to put Kyle on the machine and destroy the Madacorp network. Brian Taylor later confesses that he is Jessi's father.
