Just in time for Kitchen Nightmares‘ third season, infamous chef and Hell‘s Kitchen mainstay Gordon Ramsay is in South Florida to make over three restaurants.  First on the list of the sharp-tongued Brit and his Los Angeles-based production company is Le Bistro in Lighthouse Point. This will be followed by Anna Vincenzo‘s Ristorante Italiano in Boca Raton and Fleming: A Taste of Denmark in Miami.

This season of Hell‘s Kitchen, hosted by master chef Gordon Ramsay, promises to be the most intense, most shocking, and profanity-filled yet. At stake: a chef position at the renowned Borgata Hotel in Atlantic City, and a hefty $250,000 salary to match. Not to mention the pride that comes with having survived the wrath of Ramsay, whose standards are even higher this season than ever before—which means he gets even angrier when this season‘s chefs don‘t live up to them.

Last week on FOX’s Kitchen Nightmares, Gordon Ramsay headed to Trobiano’s restaurant in the hopes that he might be able to save the establishment.  Spearheading the $500,000 indebted restaurant is executive chef Anthony, who is obliviously proud of himself.  His restaurant serves dinner at 4:30pm, the walls are painted an ugly shade of beige and they serve chopped salad.  Ramsay described his first order as “ghastly,” causing Anthony to become “furious.”

Last week, an outroar broke out when Kitchen Nightmares master chef Gordon Ramsay appeared in Channel 4’s The F Word, where he regularly hosts and prepares three-course meals for guests.  In one recent episode, he was featured eating puffins on the show.  A particular scene showed Ramsay’s companion breaking the necks of four puffins and skinning them, and later taking out the hearts which will serve as a special Icelandic delicacy.  Shortly thereafter, complaints started filing in saying that “eating the puffins was cruel, consuming their fresh hearts was offensive and that puffins were a species under threat,” the Press Association reports.

Last week, we saw the premiere of the second season of Kitchen Nightmares, where Chef Gordon Ramsay returned to save several failing restaurants from biting the dust.  In fact, the beginning of the season saw him revisiting the kitchens of six restaurants which he managed to save from extinction.

After a successful first season of Kitchen Nightmares, Chef Gordon Ramsay returns tonight for yet another run of the reality series that follows the infamous restaurateur as he helps failing restaurants.  But before Ramsay embarks on new food adventures, he will first have to revisit the kitchens of six restaurants that were once on the verge of disaster.
