King of the Hill is an animated television series in the mold of The Simpsons. In fact, it is the longest continuously running animated comedy in America behind The Simpsons. King of the Hill centers around Hank Hill, a relatively simple and straightforward propane salesman in the fictional town of Arlene, Texas. It dives into Hanks relationship with society and others in his life, primarily wife, Peggy, his son, Bobby, and his niece-in-law, Luanne. Similar to other successful animated comedies, it touches on societal issues in a light-hearted and comical way through the eyes of the sometimes naive Hank Hill. King of the Hill airs on FOX.
