This weekend, we saw the opening of Disaster Movie, the Lionsgate Film following in the footsteps of comedy film Scary Movie. Kim Kardashian, from the highly successful E! reality series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, had been proudly talking about her film debut in her blog, and this weekend, fans finally got to see the reality celebrity show off her acting chops alongside friend and co-star Carmen Electra. Recently, Kardashian and Electra
talked to the Canadian Press about their experiences filming Disaster Movie, and their transition from reality TV to the big screen.
"This is my first movie and I've just heard that Jason [Friedberg] and Aaron [Seltzer] are the most amazing directors to work with," Kim Kardashian told the Canadian Press. "I auditioned for the role and I got it and I was really excited to work with them."

Count on reality TV celebrity Kim Kardashian to find ways to keep herself under the spotlight and in front of the pap’s flashing cameras. The 27-year-old amateur porn star turned model and fashion entrepreneur is heading back to reality television this time to be part of one of today’s most popular dance competitions. In fact, in an interview on On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Monday, she confirmed that she will be part of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars.
Meanwhile, Kim says that her foot injury won’t be affecting her performance on Dancing with the Stars. In fact, she reassures fans that she will be fine, and telling E! Online that “I will be able to dance.”

Fans already know that Kim Kardashian is close friends with the Pussycat Dolls creator Robin Antin, who not only is the woman behind the phenomenal pop girl band, but also the Pussycat Dolls Present reality series, which has spawned to successful seasons on the CW. Kim already expressed her desires to be one of the Pussycat Dolls, and this weekend, she got to live out her dream to dance like the modern seductresses of pop music. In fact, the Kim headed out to Las Vegas to do a one night show with Robin Antin at the Pure Nightclub.
"My first part of the show started off in the bathtub in the middle of the club in a vintage, all-sequin, one-piece bathing suit with puff sleeves and a beach ball!" Kim revealed in her blog. "But my second look was my favorite! A white bedazzled sailor suit. It even had a 'Kim' patch on the sleeve!"

Despite concluding the Kardashian’s reality series, socialite and wanna-be actress Kim Kardashian is keeping herself busy—and making sure she stays in the spotlight—before their spunky reality series returns to television screens in early 2009. In fact, the woman who is usually clad in sexy, hip-hugging outfits recently appeared in the Teen Choice Awards flaunting off her pristine white dress, which showed off her more conservative side. Meanwhile, she’s also keeping herself busy with her new fragrance line, promoting her movie, tending to her relationship with NFL player Reggie Bush, which has been getting attention with the engagement rumors, and of course, keeping herself fit and gorgeous by hitting the gym.
The 27-year-old Kardashian reveals that she has been exerting a lot of effort in keeping herself fit, saying, “I wanted to stress how important sticking to your workout plan is! I used to workout for about a week, then I would stop—but this time I stuck with it and have been consistently working out for a little over two months!”

Kim Kardashian dazzled the blue carpet with her elegant white dress during the Teen Choice Awards this year. The star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians made an appearance during the event, which was held at the Gibson Amphitheater in California. She and the rest of the show's cast were nominated for two awards, namely Choice TV Female Reality/Variety Star Award, and Choice TV Celebrity Reality Award.
Kim may not have taken home any of the life-sized surfboard prizes, but she surely made heads turn with her outfit. The reality show celebrity was almost unrecognizable in her rather conservative ensemble. Kim Kardashian expressed excitement about the honor, as well as her dress, on her official website. She gushed over her favorite store, Alice and Olivia. Her blog entry also involved a shopping excursion for the 10th Teen's Choice Awards, helping out friends Adrienne and Kourtney.

As the August 29 opening of Disaster Movie approaches, Kim had been busy promoting her first ever feature film. The star of the E! reality show Keeping up with the Kardashians is certainly pulling all the stops to make her big screen debut with Carmen Electra a hit.
Recently, the company behind Disaster Movie Lionsgate has teamed up with online auction portal eBay to boost publicity for the project. They are giving away five Disaster Movie posters signed by Kim and Electra by way of a charitable auction to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, whose main advocacy includes preventing HIV infection in kids and eradicating it altogether via research, advocacy, and prevention and treatment programs.

Four hours and 27 minutes was all it took for Keeping with the Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian to learn her lesson – if she is to be believed, that is. The clothing boutique owner and reality television starlet opened up to E! News anchor Ryan Seacrest about what really happened on her pseudo jail time after she violated probation and drove under the influence.
"Everybody deals with it differently, but I have dealt with it the hardest," Kardashian said, adding that "drinking was a way for me to just deal with it," in reference to the four-year anniversary of the death of her father, O.J. Simpson's counsel Robert Kardashian. "We were going out a lot...trying to hide the pain. And I went out, but I went out the wrong way. We should have had drivers, and we just weren't being smart."

Kim Kardashian may be making her way into yet another reality show in the near future. This time, the star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians will reportedly appear on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.
Word on the street is that the 27-year-old reality starlet has been talking with the producers over at Dancing with the Stars, consequently making her the latest celebrity to join the cast of the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated program that pairs celebrities with professional ballroom dancers for its seventh season, which is set to air this fall.
