Rumors have been swirling that Bravo, which is already in the process of losing its flagship series Project Runway to Lifetime, was about to lose yet another reality show. According to The New York Post, Kathy Griffin, who just won her second consecutive Outstanding Reality Program Emmy Award for Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, was being relentlessly pursued by other networks.
"Other networks are aggressively pursuing Kathy for a multitiered deal, which would include hosting a late-night talk show, award shows, and continuing her reality show and comedy specials," a source told The New York Post.

After winning an Emmy last fall, Kathy Griffin's reality show, Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, has returned for a fourth season. The show follows the struggle of the self-proclaimed "D-list" celebrity as she climbs the Hollywood ladder.
Yesterday's season premiere started with a trip back to New Year's Eve, as Griffin co-hosted CNN's New Year's Eve Countdown show with Anderson Cooper. She also made an appearance at the Producers Guild Awards.

Despite causing an uproar from Catholic League president, Bill Donohue, for telling Jesus to "suck it" while accepting an Emmy last year, Kathy Griffin and her My Life on the D-List will be back for a fourth season. Bravo finally announced the confirmation a month after Griffin already let it slip that season 4 is in the offing.
Not only will Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List be back for a fourth turn, it returns souped up from the previous six episode order to 10.

While their nominations might not get quite the same amount of speculation and attention as do the noms for comedy and drama series or individual actors, reality programs are still part of the Emmy Award night. And with reality shows appearing to have outlived all the “This is just a fad” predictions, and finding themselves fairly firmly entrenched in nearly every network's schedule, the competition for the gold statuette can be just as fierce as any Survivor challenge.
Reality television awards are divided into two categories, Reality-Competition Programs, and plain ol' Reality Programs. The nominations for each category bring some heavy-hitters, some old contenders and a couple of new faces.
