This week, Variety is reporting that The Jonas Brothers will star in the film adaptation of Water The Farting Dog, based on the popular series of children’s books. They are written by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray and illustrated by Audrey Colman. The series follows a lovable dog, who happens to have a gas problem, and his many adventures. All four of the Jonas Brothers – yes, even little Frankie, age 8 – have signed on to star in the film. The movie will be directed by Peter and Bobby Farrelly, who also directed There’s Something About Mary, and seem to have been a fan of fart jokes over the years.

The Jonas Brothers are the object of just about every young girl in America’s affection. They come to their concerts and scream the entire time the three brothers are on stage. Their walls are adorned with posters, they own t-shirts bearing their picture, and they enter into heated debates about which Jonas Brother is the hottest (for the record, it’s Joe). The brothers don’t seem to be having any trouble in the love department. Nick has been linked to Disney stars Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez while Joe has been seen spending quality time with country singer Taylor Swift. Kevin, the oldest brother, has managed to keep his love life under wraps – until now!

Following the footsteps of fellow Disney baby Miley Cyrus, the Jonas Brothers are now trying their luck to break into the British market when they launch their first U.K. single as the trio relies not only on their musicality, but also on their clean and so far scandal-free rep to win the hearts of British children and parents.
The band from Wyckoff, New Jersey wear purity rings to signal their abstinence from sex until marriage. The trio – Nick, 16, Joe, 18, and Kevin, 20 – started wearing the rings when their parents, who follow the band around the world and watch every performance, asked them if they wanted to. They just finished a sell-out arena tour of Britain and released their single SOS, which, experts believe, is expected to climb atop the U.K. charts any day now.

What do you do when you’re Disney and you’re about to lose your most marketable movie stars? Create a new movie with your freshest faces that will leave fans saying, “High School Musical Who?” Tonight, the Disney Channel debuted its latest original movie, Camp Rock, starring The Jonas Brothers. Singing, acting, and dancing alongside them were some of Disney’s best and brightest from stars of As The Bell Rings to Wizards of Waverly Place to Phineas and Ferb. Despite a typical storyline and main characters that aren’t that likable, the movie somehow ends up coming out okay. There’s only one explanation. Disney must have sprinkled some magic fairy dust on it.
