House of Carters is named after real life Backstreet Boy Nick Carter and his four brothers and sisters, Aaron, Bobbie Jean, Angel, and Leslie. The reality tv show covers their lives and their trials and tribulations in getting into show and music business and sustaining a normal family life. The family has not lived together in the last ten years which brings the fun and conflict into the House of Carters.
