July 1, 2009

The big separation issue isn't just affecting the lives of the Gosselin clan, but their careers are suffering as well.  Their TLC show Jon and Kate Plus 8 has already been put to the side as of the moment, and it looks like another by-product of their relationships has been temporarily shelved.  It's not another TLC series though, it's Kate Gosselin's book.

According to Us Magazine, Christian publisher Zondervan is putting off the date of release for the Gosselin matriarch's new tome: Love is in the Mix: Making Meals into Memories.  It's been said that it took a week after Jon and Kate filed their divorce papers for the schedule to be changed.

The Bachelorette: Jillian Harris Insists She's a Smart Girl

July 1, 2009

Viewers of The Bachelorette may have been a little hard on Jillian Harris. Who could blame them? She's been making lousy choices week after week ---eliminating the good ones and keeping the bad guys in the running. In spite of all the criticisms she's been getting these days, the Canadian love searcher asserts that she's a smart girl.

"I also have to admit that it is hard reading all the comments, and how disappointed you all are with me for keeping Wes... I totally understand where you're coming from though and I know how frustrating it is when you wish I could have seen what you're seeing now (I feel your pain!)," Jillian wrote on her blog on People.

Then again, I choose to be nice at the moment, solely because I'm still finding my way through the show.  Four weeks, and I'm feeling better about it.  Besides, I've already been a conspiracy theorist on American Idol--and, of course, that didn't work well.

American Idol: Good Question--What Did Happen To Joanna Pacitti?

July 1, 2009

That, or the other good question--do you remember who Joanna Pacitti is?

Quick history lesson then: she made some ripples on the last season of American Idol, for being an obvious favorite and a shoo-in during the auditions.  She breezed towards Hollywood, and breezed towards the Top 36--that, despite Simon Cowell vowing that they will cut anyone who forgets the lyrics, which she did.
