I bet this is going to be exciting. Something major is afoot on Grey‘s Anatomy. As can easily be deduced on the title alone, it‘s the first day of the merger - and as proof of that, Seattle Grace is no longer just Seattle Grace, it‘s Seattle Grace Mercy West hospital (they changed the signs and all). And as Mer starts off her dialogue, we see the Mercy West people arriving one by one to the hospital, just like, you know it, an invasion.

Probably the most exciting and biggest plotline of this season will kick-off tonight on Grey‘s Anatomy. On "Invasion" it‘s day one of the merger, and the residents of Seattle Grace and Mercy West, both not exactly keen on the development, vie for surgeries and their careers. OK, first there was Ellen Pompeo, then Chyler Leigh, then Katherine Heigl. Now TR Knight revealed that getting a baby may just be in the horizon for him, or at least he‘s not opposed to the idea. Knight was talking about Heigl‘s recent adoption of baby Naleigh on the Ellen Degeneres Show when the host commented that everyone‘s having a baby and asked him if he wanted one himself.

On this episode of Grey’s Anatomy, it’s the Chief versus McDreamy, when a hospital employee has an inoperable tumor wrapped around his spine and is need of a risky surgery. Derek wants to do the impossible, and the Chief won’t hear any of it. Let’s see what will happen.

After reading through the forums, the George O‘Malley fans are somewhat divided over his send-off more than a week ago.
