Amidst the recent controversy surrounding the sex tape featuring Kiss co-founder Gene Simmons and another woman, Simmons' long time partner, Shannon Tweed has spoken to TV Guide about her "happily unmarried" relationship with the legendary rocker that remains to be solid as they mark 25 years of being together this August.
Former Playboy Playmate Tweed has happily lived with Simmons since 1985. Although they are not married, they have built a sturdy relationship that has spawned two children, 19-year-old Nicholas and 15-year-old Sophie. The Simmons-Tweed family is currently residing in Beverly Hills, California and is presently featured on the reality series Gene Simmons Family Jewels, which gives viewers a peek into their unusual lives.

Gene Simmons, co-founder of legendary rock band Kiss, was nearly in tears when he lost his beloved dog Snippy on the reality series Gene Simmons Family Jewels. The infamous rock star reportedly lost the pooch, which was collected from a vet after having an operation to repair a broken leg earlier in the episode, when the front gate of his Los Angeles mansion was left open during the filming of the reality show.
Simmons, 58, immediately conducted a search around the local neighborhood but to no avail. The Simmons family then retired back to the house to call a pet rescue expert. In a desperate attempt, Simmons got in a helicopter with the pet rescue expert in the hope to find Snippy.

The media has been relentless in their pursuit of celebrities in recent times, but this did not stop KISS frontman Gene Simmons from welcoming cameras into his home to shoot the now highly-followed A&E reality series, Gene Simmons Family Jewels.
“He didn't think long or hard,” Shannon Tweed said of her long-time partner's decision to appear in a reality show in an interview with eCentral. “He said, ‘Come on in.' It made me want to hang myself.”

Next week, KISS frontman and reality star Gene Simmons is gracing daytime television when he appears on the Emmy award-winning series, The Rachael Ray Show. Hosted by Rachael Ray, the daily talk show focuses on more than just the famed 39-year-old cook's culinary skills, as it also tackles a varied array of socially-relevant topics.
Gene Simmons' episode is scheduled to air on Tuesday, March 11, the same day the third season of Simmons' family-centric reality series, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, begins airing on A&E. The 58-year-old star talked a little bit about his appearance on The Rachael Ray Show, but refrained from giving any specific details about the episode.

Previously, BuddyTV reported of a sex tape featuring KISS frontman and Gene Simmons Family Jewels star Gene Simmons and a woman who is not his longtime partner, Shannon Tweed. Since the tape was first made public, several reports regarding a variety of issues – from the identity of the woman to what is being done on the legal front – have been circulating, with TMZ reporting that Simmons' legal team has ordered the website responsible for promoting the video to cease and desist because of copyright infringement. Simmons' lawyers apparently reasoned the site has no right to promote the video through face paint, because face paint is a KISS trademark.
Amidst these reports, Gene Simmons has posted several messages on his personal website addressing the sex tape, which he has deemed “garbage.” Last week, he told fans that his “legal team is looking at all ramifications and options,” and thanked them for “all the kind words of support.” The rocker also said that Shannon, and their two children Nick Tweed-Simmons and Sophie Tweed-Simmons, are “happy and healthy” and that “all is well” in the household.

A Gene Simmons sex tape. It exists. Wrap your mind around that for a little bit. Why anyone would be cruel enough to unleash such a thing into the world is beyond me, but the truth of the matter is that it's out there. This isn't one of those self-promotional deals, to be fair. Gene Simmons didn't release it himself, so we should only be angry with the KISS front man for having the gall to tape himself in the act. Unfortunately for Gene, the woman in the sex tape (which is said to have been taped years ago) is not his partner of 20 years (and Gene Simmons Family Jewels co-star) Shannon Tweed. Tweed is also the mother Gene's children, though she and Simmons are not married. The woman in the Gene Simmons sex tape is apparently a model, who Gene met in conjunction with Frank's Energy Drink, for which Gene was a spokesman. Only a rock star would make a sex tape with an energy drink model.

Rock star Gene Simmons and his unconventional family return to A&E for an all new season of Gene Simmons Family Jewels. The much awaited third season is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, March 11 at 10pm ET/PT, along with back-to-back episodes on the same night.
For those who are not familiar, Gene Simmons Family Jewels is a reality series that follows the life of KISS co-founder Gene Simmons and his longtime partner Shannon Tweed, along with their two children, Nick and Sophie. Similar to The Osbournes, the show chronicles their lives with interesting and often comical results.

A&E has yet to announce the premiere date for the third season of Gene Simmons Family Jewels, but show star Gene Simmons believes fans will not be disappointed with the upcoming installments.
“Started off day viewing some new Gene Simmons Family Jewels edited shows,” the reality star posted on his official website. “We think you'll get a kick out of them. Lots of fun. We have 34 new shows coming!!!”
