Matthew Perry earned fame and fortune for playing the role of Chandler Bing on the sitcom Friends. The son of erotic novelist Nora Tyler Bing and cross-dressing Vegas burlesque star Charles Bing, he had an unpleasant childhood when his parents broke up. Referred to as “The Funny One,” he started using sardonic behavior and wisecracks as a defense mechanism, especially when he’s in an uncomfortable social situation. He was popularly noted for sharing an apartment with Joey, and for supporting him by paying for the rent, his headshots and food. The two got in many humorous adventures and formed a very likable friendship. Chandler dated a few women on the show but was most famous for his affairs with the recurring character Janice, and as well as Monica. Initially, he began dropping hints that he was interested in Monica but she perceived it as a joke. Eventually, Chandler and Monica slept together and began a secret affair. After their friends’ discovery of their relationship, they later moved in, finally got married, and even adopted twin babies towards the end of the series.

David Schwimmer catapulted to stardom when he was cast on the award-winning sitcom Friends. For ten years, he worked as a regular cast member and even served as the director of several episodes of the series. As the paleontologist Ross Geller, he was distinctly known for his nasal voice, nerdy intellect and abstract sense of humor. His love for dinosaurs and other scientific beliefs often led to conflict with Phoebe’s self-devised beliefs, and were usually a recurring joke throughout the series. Described by his parents as a “medical marvel,” he was generally favored by his parents over his younger sister Monica. As for his love life, he dated several women on the show and got divorced three times, starting off with Carol, Emily and then Rachel. But among all the women he dated, he was most enthralled with Rachel, who was his crush since high school. His on and off relationship with Rachel over the years eventually resulted to a happy ending when Rachel decided to stay for Ross instead of moving to Paris during its finale episode.
