Firefly is yet another of Joss Whedon's creations that stars Nathan Fillion as Malcolm Reynolds, captain of Firefly class spaceship Serenity and former sergeant in the Battle of Serenity. He heads the crew composed of Zoe Alleyne Washburne (Gina Torres), Hoban Washburne (Alan Tudyk) and Inara Serra (Morena Baccarin) among others. The series is set in the year 2517 where the only superpowers left in the world are America and China. Firefly follows the crew as they become renegades from the new star system they used to call their home.
