It‘s a day of nostalgia across the Internet as word spread that the improv comedy show Whose Line is it Anyway? is being revived with the original cast -- minus one.Plus, late night host Jimmy Kimmel may host the Oscars next year. This comes on the heels of Seth MacFarlane being hammered for some of his jokes as well as a certain musical number he did during this year‘s telecast. And in casting news, another actor from Downton Abbey will not be returning for season 4, Marg Helgenberger and Audra McDonald will both be starring in pilots, and the prince in The CW‘s adaptation of The Selection has been cast. Read more »
If you‘re a fan of FOX‘s Sunday night animation lineup, things aren‘t looking so good for one of those shows. It‘s being reported that The Cleveland Show has been cancelled.This doesn‘t come as a surprise considering the ratings have not been very strong lately, averaging 3.3 million viewers. Another sign that the Family Guy spin-off is about make its exit is that FOX has already renewed the rest of its animated shows: The Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad and Bob‘s Burgers. Due to the amount of time it takes to produce these shows, early renewals are critical to making sure the producers, writers and everyone else involved can start on time before the next season is set to begin. Read more »
