Season 3 of Eureka has been going strong and Carter and crew have dealt with a lot. With alien mythology creeping into the mix, BuddyTV wanted to get the lowdown on this season from the highest source: Co-Creator Jaime Paglia. Lucky for us, Paglia attended EW and SyFy‘s Comic-Con party last Saturday night and we were able to grab him for a couple minutes to hear all about the "romance and intrigue" that will be coming up at the end of the season.

First, let‘s get this out in the open: initial reports said that Supernatural and Smallville will have their panels on Sunday so don‘t freak out that the shows aren‘t included in the first two days.

When our favorite genius-populated town Eureka returns to a newly branded SyFy Channel after an almost 10-month break, a "unique problem" arises anew and Carter (Colin Ferguson) can‘t help but get involved in the whole thing, especially in the midst of his redaction.

Just as Sci-fi changes its name to Syfy, our favorite genius-filled small town Eureka is set to return to the network this Friday to continue its third season which was cut off in the fall. To kick off the 10-episode return, the episode "Welcome Back Carter" will reportedly feature a "unique problem" in the midst of Carter‘s redaction, where he can‘t help but get involved.

Last week on Eureka, the small town adventures of Carter (Colin Ferguson) became more interesting when his daughter Zoe (Jordan Hinson) became so busy with the mayoral race that she left her lab partner to accidentally conjure a new sun.  Being the heroic figure that he is, Carter, along with Zane, rushed to get rid of the fireball in the sky.  They donned their heavy duty protection gear and got ready to literally put out the sun.
