Deadliest Catch is a documentary-style series on the Discovery Channel that documents the events onboard six fishing ships in the Bering Sea during the Alaskan king crab and Opilio crab fishing seasons. It follows the ships and their crews as they risk their lives to make a living in the harshest conditions. Deadliest Catch shows viewers an inside look at the forty-foot waves, freezing temperatures and 700 pound crab pots, and one of the world's deadliest jobs, the Alaskan crab fisherman.
