Days of our Lives begins with Stephanie (Shelley Hennig) crying in the pub. She just read the letter that Max wrote earlier on Days of our Lives about going off to Europe to look for his sister. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) come to the pub to comfort their daughter. Meanwhile, Max has made his way over to France. We know that he's taking a train from Paris to Marseille, and the train conductor speaks to him in French, due to some Indiana Jones-style map tracing.
At home, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) reads to Ciara, and Bo (Peter Reckell) secretly replays the tape of Philip threatening Paul Hollingsworth's life. He doesn't share the news with Hope, however. Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is in the hospital with Victor. He just whispered to Victor that he may have done something that can ruin himself and the family, and although Victor is unconscious, he must have heard it because all the monitors start beeping frantically.

Days of our Lives begins today with Bo (Peter Reckell) struggling on his computer and complaining to Hope (Kristian Alfonso) about it. Hope is clearly the more computer-literate among the dynamic duo. Hope fixes his computer, and then exposits that Morgan's father is still missing and unaccounted for, and there is a mysterious package that he sent to her. The package was stalled at the post office near Salem University.
Morgan, with Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) in tow, are at the post office trying to pick up the package.
Sami (Alison Sweeney) accuses EJ (James Scott) of blackmailing the judge to order that Johnny must stay with him. She reminds him that just the other day, he professed his undying love for her, and now he's doing this. But then he throws her wishy-washy feelings back at her.

Today on Days of our Lives, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is still at the police station, seething after finding out that Lucas slept with Chloe. Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Bo (Peter Reckell) question him about Lucas. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) runs into Kate (Lauren Koslow), who tells her to stay away from Philip. Chloe agrees, telling her that she and Philip are already history.
Chelsea (Rachel Melvin) is staring her first day as an occupational therapist-in-training at the Salem University Hospital, a gig that Daniel helped her procure. She's really excited about it and gushes to Daniel.
Meanwhile, at the pub, Victor (John Aniston) who collapsed at the end of yesterday's Days of our Lives, is still completely passed out.

Days of our Lives is back! (And the power is back on in Salem as well.) Caroline (Peggy McCay) offers Victor a complimentary slice of apple pie to ease the pain of his divorce. She's got a lot on her mind, though, because Trent Robbins is eating at the pub across the room. Why this man insists on patronizing this establishment when it's been made clear that he's not welcome there is beyond me. EJ meets with Nicole outside the pub. They are meeting Victor there to sign the remaining papers for their divorce.
At the police station, Bo questions Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) about why he snuck out of the mansion. Meanwhile, Philip (Jay Kenneth Johnson) questions Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) about sleeping with Lucas.

Alison Sweeney, best known for her portrayal of Samantha "Sami" Gene Brady on Days of our Lives, is expecting her second child with husband Dave Sanoy. The 31-year-old actress broke the good news while taping the new season of The Biggest Loser, where she serves as the host.
Sweeney married David, a California Highway Patrolman who once appeared on Days of our Lives as a police officer, in 2000. Five years later, Sweeney gave birth to her first baby boy named Benjamin Edward Sanov.

The lights are still out on Days of our Lives today. The power in Salem is slowly coming back, but the pub is filled to the gills. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) come back to the pub after checking up on Joey because Max (Darin Brooks) asked them to come by to ask them for help finding his sister.
EJ (James Scott) catches up with Nicole, who gets all avoidy on him. She pretends that the sex they had in the elevator was no big deal.
Roman (Josh Taylor), Bo (Peter Reckell) and Abe (James Reynolds) ask Morgan to come down to the station to read the letter that Paul wrote to her.

Today's Days of our Lives begins immediately where yesterday's Days of our Lives left off. Max (Darin Brooks) has just stolen Trent Robbins' cell phone and dials a number. A girl - Trent's daughter - answers. Also, at the Salem Inn, EJ (James Scott) and Nicole are in the throes of lovemaking, stuck in the elevator. Nicole daydreams that he and Nicole are married and Sami (Alison Sweeney) gets totally jealous. Next door in the other elevator, Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) and Chloe are also going at it. Lucas tells Chloe that she's incredible, and that he's through with Sami.

Days of our Lives begins in mid-kiss between Chelsea (Rachel Melvin) and Daniel (Shawn Christian). The lights just went off in the middle of Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope's (Kristian Alfonso) Fourth of July party, and Chelsea and Daniel took that opportunity to start making out. When the lights come back on, Bo starts steaming when he sees Daniel kissing his daughter. Kate (Lauren Koslow) sees them too, and then passes out.
Downstairs in the DiMera mansion, John (Drake Hogestyn) and Ava let marlena (Deidre Hall) in, and she is saddened to see that he destroyed everything. Sami (Alison Sweeney) runs around looking for Lucas, but he is nowhere to be found. Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) is actually stuck in an elevator making out with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). Also stuck in an elevator are EJ (James Scott) and Nicole, who are doing more than making out, if you get my drift. EJ really puts a damper on things when he calls Nicole by Sami's name. EJ apologizes sincerely, and they get back to kissing.
