We recently reported that the reality TV princess Kim Kardashian is set to take on another challenge as she was cast as one of the contenders in the upcoming seventh season of Dancing With the Stars, where she has been paired up with pro dancer Mark Ballas. Continuing the string of reality TV endeavors, the 27-year-old fashion entrepreneur says that she is looking forward to training for her performance on the show. In fact, People recently reported that Kim was happy to land the spot as Ballas’ partner.
“All I could think was, I would be spending weeks and weeks and weeks, hours upon hours with this person, so I hoped we’d just get along to start!” Kim said of her partner. “But I can tell you this: I was really happy when I saw it was Mark!”

Is The Daily Show with Jon Stewart the most important news show in America? That may sound like a cynical question, but think about it. There's so much competing noise these days in the cable news world that The Daily Show probably is, at least on cable, as formidable in the news world as Bill O'Reilly or Keith Olberman. The Daily Show has won the Emmy for Best Variety, Music or Comedy Series for five straight years. There's no reason it won't happen again, but the competition isn't anything to sneeze at either. The Emmys are only two days away, folks. Below we'll take a look at the Best Variety, Music or Comedy Series category, as well as the Best Reality-Competition Series category.

Dancing with the Stars returns this Monday for a seventh season. That's only three days away, and we'll be treated to three consecutive nights of Dancing with the Stars – two performances shows on Monday and Tuesday, followed by the season's first results show on W.dnesday night.
Earlier this week, I brought you my thoughts on which five teams would end up at the bottom and which five would be relegated to the middle of the pack. And without further ado, here are my picks for the top three teams.

Less than a week to go until Dancing with the Stars premieres for its seventh season. Yesterday, I offered my thoughts on which of the 13 couples would be the least successful on this season of Dancing with the Stars, and today, it's all about the middle of the pack.
Athletes have dominated Dancing with the Stars for the past four seasons, but I think this will be the year in which someone else will take the trophy. As such, all three athletes on this year's roster fall in my middle five.
Don't forget that the Dancing with the Stars seventh season begins this Monday, September 22. Two couples will be eliminated in the first week, and it's sure to be exciting.

Thirteen pairs of celebrities and professional dancers will take the floor when the seventh season of Dancing with the Stars opens on Monday, September 22. This is a season of superlatives: the largest cast, the oldest and youngest competitors, two Olympic gold medalists, a Super Bowl champion, among many others.
This year, there will be two eliminations on two consecutive nights. All 13 teams will prepare two routines for the first week of competition on Dancing with the Stars. Everyone gets to perform on Monday night, but only 12 will perform their second routine on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, during the first results show of the season, a second couple will be eliminated.
I've spent the last couple of weeks looking at each pair's strengths and weaknesses, and now it's finally time to rank them. Here, I present to you the bottom five couples.

We've done it! We've made it all the way to the end of the list of the 13 new couples vying for a chance to become America's favorite ballroom dancing duo on Dancing with the Stars. Today, let's take a look at the 13th and final couple: Maurice Greene and Cheryl Burke.
Dancing with the Stars season 7 will begin with a three-night premiere event in exactly one week. This year, all 13 teams will each prepare two routines for the first week. They'll all perform on Monday night, but only 12 teams will be allowed to perform the following night. Then, on Wednesday, we'll have the first results show of the season.

It's the home stretch. Dancing with the Stars season 7 will begin on Monday, September 22. For the first time in the show's history, all 13 couples will have to prepare two separate routines for the first week. Everyone will get a chance to perform on Monday night, but only 12 will come back on Tuesday to perform their second routine. Then, on Wednesday, the judges' scores will be combined with viewers' votes for the first results show.
We've taken a look at almost all of the celebrities on this year's cast list. Today, let's take a look at the patron saint of Jumping The Shark, Ted McGinley, and his professional partner, Inna Brayer.

There are 13 brand new couples competing for the mirror ball trophy this season on Dancing with the Stars. I've gone through nearly all of them individually, weighing their strengths and weaknesses, and today, I'm going to consider Kim Kardashian and Mark Ballas' chances at winning. To tell you the truth, I've been putting off analyzing this particular team for a while because I can't decide how I feel about having a celebutante like Kim on the show.
Sure, Dancing with the Stars is often a last-ditch vehicle enabling certain stars to hang on to their waning fame for just one moment more, but at least most of them were famous at some point for doing something worthwhile. (Yes, even raging blowhards like Tucker Carlson.) But should Kim Kardashian, she of the sex tape and of the tremendous posterior, really be on Dancing with the Stars? Surely, there is some other aging, former movie starlet who would be better served by learning how to foxtrot? Besides, isn't Dancing with the Stars a family show?
