On tonight's episode of CSI: Miami, David Caruso and the gang struggle to rescue a kidnapped baby before it's too late – and the murderer decides to make her his next victim. “Gone Baby Gone” looks like a terribly dramatic episode, especially for moms who are fans of the series.
From the preview clip, it looks like the mother of the child is torn between paying ransom or not. As Calleigh points out, when they pay ransom, the kidnappers will have no reason to keep Sophie (that's the baby) alive.

With the seventh season of CSI: Miami well underway, fans are getting caught up in the suspense and drama of this series. The seventh installment of CSI: Miami, which brings back David Caruso and his shades, filled us in on what happened to Horatio Caine after he was shot back in the finale of season six. Recently, supervising producer Corey Miller spoke to CSI Files to reveal some juicy tidbits on what’s to come on this season of CSI: Miami.
“We would definitely like to explore Horatio's relationship with his son some more this season,” Miller says of Horatio and his son Kyle. “Since we don't typically ‘go home’ with our characters, it has been a challenge to keep Kyle on the front burner, because we do not want him to have to be in trouble every time he comes around. But we are working on ways to further that dynamic, despite the obstacle.”

On CSI: Miami's last episode called “Bombshell,” an explosion ripped off an upscale boutique sending a girl flying to the center of the store. As the team came to investigate, something altogether unrelated caught our attention: Julia (Elizabeth Berkeley), Horatio's (David Caruso) ex, being escorted out of a neighboring store for repeatedly issuing bad checks, prompting some fans who aren't big fans of the Horatio-Julia arc to cry, “throw her in jail!” Later on, their son Kyle would tell Horatio that, indeed, his mom had not been her usual self lately. When someone got run over, Horatio probably realized Kyle wasn't kidding. When Horatio visited Julia, the two shared a quiet moment. Back on the case (which is the point of the show), they discovered that the motive behind sewing a bomb to the dress was to silence a supposed extortionist and blackmailer.
In other CSI: Miami news, Jonathan Togo, best known for playing Ryan Wolfe on the series, is starring in a web series called “My Best Friend is my Penis” that premiered October 22. In collaboration with comedian Will Carlough, Togo will appear in the four-episode “online buddy comedy” that airs on Atom.com, a digital comedy network and exclusive partner of Comedy Central for original digital comedy content. The online series will also see the light of the small screen, as Comedy Central will air episodes on its weekly half-hour late night show Atom TV on starting December 8. It is also available on iTunes.

Last time on CSI: Miami, we got a rather startling start when a couple trying to get some outdoor action was interrupted by a man who just appeared from the bushes, mouth bleeding and disoriented. When Horatio (David Caruso) and Frank (Rex Linn) arrived, they started questioning the couple. Now soon Dr. Tara Price (Megalyn Echikunwoke) would later tell them that she found a tattooed piece of flesh in his stomach meaning the blood on his face was human blood. Horatio recognized the design as belonging to a Russian mob tattoo.
Tonight on CSI: Miami, Horatio's ex Julia Winston (Elizabeth Berkley) makes a return (and in the photo can be seen getting rather emotional with her former love) in an episode called “Bombshell.” The team will find itself investigating a murder in Miami's hippest fashion boutique. Horatio realizes that Julia might just be more unstable than he thought her to be. According to the promo, “Julia's instability has turned her into a ticking bomb.”

Even if you've never seen an episode of CSI: Miami, you certainly know about Horatio Caine's sunglasses. The iconic character played by David Caruso observes the crime scene, delivers a pithy line, then puts on his sunglasses.
More specifically, he puts on his pair of Silhouette Titanium Model 8568 sunglasses. Rarely has eyewear been so dramatic, but with Caruso's unique line reading, these shades are a signature look that demand respect. No matter the situation, once Horatio Caine puts his sunglasses on, the bad guy is going down.

Last week's episode of CSI: Miami predictably ruled its 10pm time slot on Monday with “And How Does That Make You Kill?” 13.62 million tuned in to see the daughter of Eric's (Adam Rodriguez) therapist's 16-year-old daughter killed. Horatio (David Caruso) and Dr. Marsh (Gail O'Grady) had a little exchange about vows, and Eric found out that Dr. Marsh's files were missing.
When the smoke had cleared, Calleigh saw something that she should or shouldn't have seen, but she didn't tell him. That kind of ruined the moment for the two. Calleigh later told Eric that he can tell her anything, and, when asked if she read the files, smiled meaningfully and said, ‘We make a good team. I'll see you tomorrow.” The CBS procedural was followed by Boston Legal, plus a special Monday airing of Life.

When CSI: Miami returned September 22 for the premiere of its seventh season, the reviews were mixed. As far as ratings are concerned, though, “Resurrection” was a run-away winner on Monday night, edging out the season premiere of Heroes. CSI: Miami's 16.87 million was even better than its already sterling premiere numbers last season of 14.8 million.
The episode, however, just bolstered the great divide between fans and those who hate it with a passion (but still watch, according to some). Comments were made regarding Horatio Caine's (David Caruso) ridiculously repetitive removal of his sunglasses, the “horrible” acting, and “ineffectively incoherent” story development.
