Previously on Crowned, the teams worked for Habitat For Humanity for a day, and when Mindy and Rachelle won the award for the having the best work ethic, Patty's and Laura's feathers were ruffled, to say the least. Gina and Hollis won the soapbox challenge, and Angela and Tenia ran off the stage to avoid de-sashing themselves.
The penultimate episode of Crowned begins with the five remaining teams discussing Team Beauty is Skin Deep's shocking exit. Rachelle consoles Christan and Ada for not having had a chance to say good-bye to their roommates. Laura jumps into the conversation and snaps at Rachelle. They get into a huge argument, Patty telling Rachelle not to go around doling out unsolicited advice to people. Poor Ada and Christan feel caught in the middle. Laura mocks the Goody Two Shoes girls for being ugly while claiming that people should be beautiful both on the inside and on the outside.

Previously on Crowned, the Goal Driven Gals Brenda and Heather were de-sashed, and Team Beauty is Skin Deep took top honors in their video blog. There are only six mother-daughter teams left to vie for $100,000 and a pair of tiaras.
Tonight's episode of Crowned begins with Linnea telling the girls to get ready for a day outside. She instructs them to wear pants and closed-toed shoes, and the girls are taken by bus to a construction site. They will be working for Habitat for Humanity for the day, working on a construction site. Poor Mindy. This looks like a very physically demanding challenge, and she's still limping from her knee injury.

Shanna Moakler's most obvious connection to the mother-daughter teams of contestants on the CW reality series Crowned might be her own pageant experience through the Miss USA competition. But she does share something else: she, too, is a mom.
Her kids are mainly too young to have developed quite the dramatic relationships you sometimes see on Crowned, with her children with Travis Barker Landon Asher Alabama Luella at 4-years-old and 2-years-old respectively, and her daughter from a prior relationship with boxer Oscar de la Hoya, Atiana Cecilia, at 8-years old. The Crowned judged shared recently some of the family fun they had gotten up to.

Formerly known as the Blonde Bombshells, these two Goal Driven Gals hail from Parkersburg, West Virginia. They wanted to enter the Crowned competition to prove that there is a lot more substance to them than just their looks. Throughout their stay, mom Brenda and daughter Heather were able to use their sunny dispositions and self-deprecating senses of humor to defuse an otherwise tense competition house.

Previously on Crowned, the Sincere Sexy Reds couldn't handle the trust clinic, but they pulled out a victory in the elimination challenge. The Goal Getters failed to impress with their hula hoop routine, and they were de-sashed.
In the Crowned house, Rachelle and Mindy are very sad that Jill and Nicole were de-sashed, but the other clique, the Mean Girls, celebrate. The Goody Two Shoes girls all decide to band together and form an alliance. Naturally, the Mean Girls hear all of this conversation through the intercom.

Previously on Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants, the two sides of the house went to war. The Dream Gals battled with Beauty is Skin Deep. The Blessed Beauties took the best pageant photo, and the Tomboy Queens had to de-sash themselves.
Tonight's Crowned begins immediately with an announcement from pageant director Linnea. She tells the teams to meet in the rose courtyard with their heels on for a dance contest. At the courtyard, Linnea explains that there is always an opening dance routine that occurs at the beginning of every pageant. To help them with their dance is Scott, the choreographer for a dozen major pageants. He walks them through a cute little dance. Jill and Gina are two moms with the worst dance abilities, but they seem good-natured about it. In the middle of the dance, Scott takes them through a trust-fall exercise, but it's unclear whether the trust fall is part of the dance.

One of the big challenges of being a judge on most reality shows seems to be the disconnect between what you do and what the public thinks you do.
During the last season of Top Chef, many show fans were outraged that Hung Huynh – who was clearly the show's villain based on his interactions with other contestants – could win the prize. The judges, however, commented in the press that their role was to judge each individual challenge on the merit of the meal they were served, not the personality of the contestant.
Shanna Moakler is now encountering a bit of that disconnect herself on Crowned, and she recently sought to clear things up for fans.

Previously on Crowned: The Mother of All Pageants, two cliques started to form in the Crowned house. The swimsuit clinic saw the daughters in charge. The Tomboy Queens de-sashed The Realists. There are nine pairs left. Who will be de-sashed tonight?
Tonight's Crowned begins with a kind of annoying theme song. Am I off my rocker, or is this the first time they are using this song? The Goody-Two-Shoes clique make a tearful toast to Alana and Annette, while the Mean Girls clique party the night away.
