Criminal Minds follows an elite team of FBI agents known as the Behavioral Analysis Unit as they profile the minds of suspects and gain information about them in order to stop crimes from happening. It features Mandy Patinkin as Jason Gideon, a top profiler, until early season three. Shortly thereafter he was replaced by Joe Mantegna as David Rossi, a fellow veteran profiler who rejoins the team in order to solve an unfinished case.
