Celebrity Rap Superstar is an upcoming reality television competition series from MTV. It pairs eight chosen celebrities with celebrity mentors who will teach and show them how to sharpen their rapping skills, before pitting them against each other in a battle of rhymes and freestyle rap. Each week will see the contestants dueling it out with each other in front of a selected panel of judges and a live studio audience, as they perform covers of famous songs as well as their own original compositions.
