Foster stars in the new ABC Family series Bunheads as Michelle Sims, who‘s found her dream of becoming a professional dancer harder than she ever imagined. Now living in Sin City as a Vegas showgirl, Michelle packs up and moves to a sleepy town after a surprising marriage. There she helps her new mother-in-law run a dance studio, Palladino vet Kelly Bishop, who does cold put downs better than anyone else. People love getting their knickers in a bunch over the stupidest things, and this week there are two HUGE TV controversies that aren‘t really that controversial.In the one corner we have Game of Thrones, which let it slip in a DVD commentary that back in season 1, one of the heads one a spike was that of former president George W. It‘s a very good day for (most of) ABC Family‘s shows. The network has officially extended the order of the freshman ballet dramedy Bunheads while ordering extras seasons for Switched at Birth, Melissa and Joey and Baby Daddy. When Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino returned to TV in 2012 with the ABC Family ballet dramedy Bunheads, it all felt a tad familiar. ABC Family has decided to cancel Bunheads, the ballet drama from  Amy Sherman-Palladino that featured Sutton Foster, Kaitlyn Jenkins, Julia Goldani Telles, Bailey Buntain and Emma Dumont.  The series ended its 18-episode first season in February and had been awaiting its fate since then.  Read more »
