Sharon Obermueller and Jacob Gregg Heald's relationship became one of the twists that intrigued viewers of Big Brother 9. Sharon joined the CBS reality series in attempt to move on with her life after her failed relationship with Jacob only to find her ex-boyfriend as one of the housemates who she would have to endure and live with supposedly for three months. Despite the apprehension, she decided to face the competition head-on.
“Yes, it was very difficult and I felt like I had the hardest situation than anyone else in the house because of how much he hurt me. Of course, it ran through my mind to hit the panic button, but I'm a Marine brat. You never quit or give up. It's not in your blood,” Sharon told Realityshack.com of how awkward it was to learn that Jacob was also cast on Big Brother.

Rumors have swirled, as they always do. Big Brother 10 is coming up in a couple of months and CBS has not come forward and announced what the theme or the big twist will be. We probably won't know for some time. That's why we have rumors. The latest one to gain some steam is that Big Brother 10, in the wake of the success of Survivor: Micronesia, will be a Fans vs. Favorites season. Ignoring the fact that Big Brother can't pit only two groups against each other lest they alter the basic dynamics of the game, this theme seems unlikely, if only because Big Brother All-Stars was only a couple years ago. Would Big Brother and CBS go back to the well so quickly?

Joshuah Welch is arguably one of the most controversial figures in the ninth season of Big Brother. While he's willing to face up to it, he reveals that there are some things he did in the house that he's not proud of.
In an interview with Reality News Online, Joshuah, who was evicted on Big Brother on day 56, said there are a lot of things that he would do differently, starting off with controlling his raging temper.

James Zinkand and Chelsia Hart were among the contestants of Big Brother 9 who humored (or disgusted) viewers with their sexual urges and sneaky make-out sessions. While both declared their feelings for each other and assured each other that they would continue their love affair even after the show, they seem to have a change of heart now that cameras aren't following their every move anymore.
At present, James and Chelsia have decided to put a hold on their romance and just remain friends.

Big Brother 9 began the season with a faulty premise, and I'm not sure it ever recovered. Part of the base attraction of Big Brother is the individual-within-a-group dynamic, as each player only looks out for themselves while attempting to make it seem like they're not. With the couples twist at the beginning of Big Brother 9, the inherent selfishness of Big Brother was diffused; instead of fending for only themselves, players had to worry about and deal with a total stranger. How was this a) fair, or b) better than the usual royal rumble of Big Brother? The experiment was understandable – CBS wanted to change things up, bring some excitement to the first ever winter edition of Big Brother. How they went about this was, unfortunately, completely misguided.

Big Brother 9 was the first ever winter edition of summer's guiltiest pleasure. Thanks to the Hollywood writer's strike, the ninth edition premiered with 16 houseguests and a new twist: the contestants would be playing as couples. While the houseguests were not happy with this idea, neither was America. The day did not come soon enough when the couples were split, returning the game to be played as individuals as it was meant to be played.
This was my first time to watch Big Brother and from what I've heard, the ninth edition was by far, the most outrageous season with the most outrageous guests. I agree. They are definitely not like anyone I have ever met and I am happy they were on a television show rather than at my house for dinner.

Big Brother 9 has ended, and now the house guests have been released into the real world. That means they have to be accountable for their actions and answer questions. The media has had an obvious target in Crazy James who, it was discovered, dabbled in the seedy world of gay porn prior to entering the Big Brother house. Also, the winner of Big Brother 9, Adam Jasinski, had to respond to his unfortunate “retard” comment early in the Big Brother season. According to Adam's former employer back when the comments were made, the Big Baller was probably not going to be welcomed back to his job. Of course, they did not anticipate Adam winning the $500,000 and have since backed off their hard stance a little bit. As for James, when confronted about his porn past, he responded in a reasonable and level-headed manner.

Big Brother 9's Adam did not enter the Big Brother house looking like a possible winner. In fact, if it wasn't for Jacob's ridiculous behavior he and former Penthouse Pet Sheila probably would have been kicked to the curb in week one. But, Big Baller persevered on Big Brother, making friends with most everyone in the house. His bizarrely infectious personality is what won it for him in the end, as he took home the $500,000 grand prize on the Big Brother 9 finale last night. Adam took some time out of his now-hectic schedule to speak with us today about his time inside the Big Brother house, how he really feels about Sheila and what he plans to do with his winnings.
Below you will find both the written transcript and full mp3 audio of the interview.
