Picking up a few weeks after the second season finale, Aang awakens from his coma to discover himself and his friends aboard a stolen Fire Nation warship. As Aang struggles to come to terms with his failure at Ba Sing Se, Prince Zuko and Princess Azula return home to be congratulated by their father, Fire Lord Ozai.
