In just a few short weeks, America's Next Top Model will return for its 11th cycle. The show kicks off on Wednesday, September 3rd, with a special two hour season premiere. Fourteen girls will be chosen to compete this season for an aspiring model's dream prize: management by Elite Model Management, a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl, and a photo on the cover and six-page fashion spread in Seventeen magazine. Hairspray star Nikki Blonsky certainly ignored the height difference when she figured in a brawl with a former contestant of the CW reality show America's Next Top Model.
Blonsky, 4 feet 10 inches, slugged it out with Bianca Golden, who stood at 5 feet 11 inches over seats in the departure lounge of the Providenciales International Airport in Turks and Caicos, July 30, Wednesday, according to cops.

America’s Next Top Model has a nationwide casting call underway for its next season and talent scouts are hitting malls across America to find the next runway star. Auditions are running through all of July and the show is making stops in major cities such as Philadelphia, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City. The CW’s website posted that many more audition dates and locations will be announced soon. Eva Pigford, winner of the third cycle of America's Next Top Model and the first African-American contestant to win the program, has made a transition from reality TV star to dramatic daytime television actress. Now known as Eva Marcille, the 23-year-old model is presently savoring her role on The Young and the Restless, where she made her debut on June 25.
On The Young and the Restless, Marcille plays a character named Tyra Hamilton, which is quite a reference to America's Next Top Model host Tyra Banks. Tyra arrived in Genoa City with her daughter Ana (Jamia Simone Nash) during Lily Winters' (Christel Khalil) birthday party to surprise her sister's son Devon (Bryton McClure).

There is a new category this year for the Prime Time Emmy Awards, and it has me quite excited. Probably far more excited than I should be. It is for the Best Reality Show Host. The Emmy Nominations will be announced next Thursday morning, July 17, and while we have a fairly good idea who the contenders are for the major awards, thanks to leaked short lists that have hit the internet over the past couple of weeks, we have no idea who the contenders for Reality Host will be. While the categories for Best Reality Show are split into Reality Show and Reality Show – Competition, the Host category is a veritable free-for-all. If you host any sort of prime time reality series, you are eligible. Since prognostication is part of the BuddyTV repertoire, we thought it'd be nice to take a look at who likely will be nominated and who, in a perfect world, should be.

America's Next Top Model fans are all too familiar with snapshots of creator and host Tyra Bank's childhood, when she would relate stories of how tall, thin, and awkward she was. In the same vein, Top Model contestants usually have similar stories to tell, about how they were bullied in school for their looks.
In an interview, Tyra Banks says that indeed her height and weight may have appeared abnormal growing up, and that she got bullied a lot because of this.
