Ally McBeal chronicles the somewhat neurotic and often dysfunctional life of young attorney, Ally McBeal, and her colleagues at a fictional Boston law firm. The show is as much set in the offices of Cage, Fish and Associates as it is in the bar lounge where Ally and her friends often unwind and socialize at the end of their days. Centered on the over thinking, often fantasizing or daydreaming McBeal, the series follows her ordeals both in and out of the courtroom.
