Last Monday's special 1940s-themed episode of One Tree Hill was one of the lowest rated installments of the season. Maybe viewers were turned off by the time period, or maybe they wanted to spend the hour mocking Heroes instead of checking out Chad Michael Murray's scripting debut. Viewers who skipped the noir outing will definitely want to return for next week's episode, which features Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek as a wild, coke-snorting film director. I don't want to wait for my life to be over before seeing the Beek from the Creek on OTH.
To get fans ready for Monday's One Tree Hill, we have a hilarious clip from the episode.

Survivor: Gabon, somehow, keeps on getting better. You know it's a good season when the result of the tribal council vote is more or less set in stone early in the episode and the hour remains entertaining. It was abundantly clear from the first few minutes that, barring a Randy victory at the immunity challenge, the crotchety old man would be heading to jury. And, yet, I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a Survivor episode as much as I did last night. Most of this was thanks to Randy. Though he's kind of an awful person, his presence will sorely be missed. He's that ornery uncle who makes snide remarks at the family reunion, who the little nieces and nephews, who don't know any better, keep on infuriating. If we ever have another Survivor: All-Stars, Randy has to be involved. I demand it.

On this week's finale of America's Next Top Model cycle 11, McKey was named the winner. This female boxer started out the season putting up one-dimensional photos in panel but quickly grew into a force to be reckoned with. She became more creative as the weeks went on and turned out high fashion photo after high fashion photo. McKey rocked the runway in Amsterdam, in a Addy van den Krommenacker show, impressing all of the judges. Today, she spoke to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview and could barely contain her excitement about being named America's Next Top Model.
Below, you will find the transcript and mp3 of the interview.

One of the best new shows of the fall season is HBO's True Blood, which airs its highly anticipated season finale this Sunday at 9pm. The first season of the vampire drama has been packed with jaw-dropping surprises, but perhaps the most shocking twist was the reveal that kindhearted bar owner Sam Merlotte, played by actor Sam Trammell, is a shape-shifter. Sookie has grown closer to Sam since discovering his secret, but with a murderer on the loose and her jealous vampire boyfriend on the rampage, they probably won't live happily ever after.
I had a chance to sit down with Sam Trammell today to talk about his role on the hit HBO series. Read on for his thoughts on his character's complicated romantic relationships, what he hopes to see in True Blood's second season, and what fans can expect in Sunday's season finale.

After two seasons of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila that both ended in heartbreak for the bisexual Internet star, Tila Tequila won't return for a third shot at love. But MTV decided to double its pleasure for the third installment of the reality hit, so starting Tuesday, December 9 at 10pm, viewers can see bisexual twins search for love on A Double Shot at Love.
That's right – bisexual twins. Vikki and Rikki will star in the new season as 12 straight guys and 12 lesbians compete to win their hearts. Much like Real Chance of Love on VH1, there will be two winners. The bisexual twins, also known as the"Ikki Twins," are sure to push the envelope as far as it can possibly go.

With Top Chef there is the obvious difficulty of, you know, assessing food we've never tasted. And the early part of a Top Chef season presents another challenge in guessing whose food is good and whose is gross: there's just too many of them.
With fifteen chefs still elbowing each other for room in the kitchen, the editing invariably can only give us a little bit of time with the best and worst chefs. You know who's left in the middle, but how far high and low within that middle is a total mystery. Some chefs in previous competitions have actually complained about this, noting that with the criticism and praise, they are left in a hazy insecurity, not sure what on earth the judges think about their talent.

On Wednesday, we learned that McKey was crowned America's Next Top Model of Cycle 11, beating out Analeigh and Samantha for that top spot.
While many have complained that this season was a snoozefest, most also thought that all three of the girls generally took strong high-fashion shots. So how did their final photo shoot – which required nailing that fresh and approachable commercial look – turn out? Which shots were the best and worst of the America's Next Top Model finale?

In the next few days before the Dancing with the Stars season finale, I'll be comparing and contrasting the strengths and weaknesses that the three remaining stars and their professional dance partners bring to the table. Along with discussing the merits of each celebrity and why he or she deserves a spot in the finals, let's also take a step down memory lane and remember all the performances that have led to this point.
Brooke, Brooke, Brooke. If this competition were purely based on technique and skill, then Brooke should definitely win, hands down, no complaints from me.

If you told me a year ago that Supernatural would feature a battle between angels and demons that ended with one angel recapturing her grace, I would have thought you were speaking gibberish. The mythology of the series has taken an interesting twist in the past 10 episodes, with plenty of talk about Heaven, Hell, angels and even God Himself. Some fans aren't particularly thrilled with all this Biblical mumbo jumbo, but I think it's made Supernatural more epic than ever. My only concern is that creator Eric Kripke may not be able to top this in the show's fifth and possibly final season. Once the boys outwit the armies of Heaven and Hell, what will they do for an encore?

On last night's episode of Grey's Anatomy, the interns went all Lord of the Flies and just did whatever the hell they wanted. Led by Lexie (of all people), they came up with the ridiculous and stupid idea to perform a surgery on one of their own while the residents were busy with their own patients. One intern starts by letting the others inject him with an epidural and then putting in a catheter. Then, Lexie decides they should all perform an appendectomy on him. When he chickens out, Sadie volunteers. Lexie becomes nervous about the surgery, as she should be, since none of them know what the hell they're doing but Sadie just cuts herself and just like that, the appendectomy is under way!

What more can you hope for in a mid-season finale than the heart-pounding excitement Smallville provided last night? In an episode filled with stunning returns, shocking revelations, and high voltage action, the only bad thing about it is that the next new episode of Smallville won't air until January 15, 2009.
That's eight excruciatingly long weeks until we find out what Doomsday has in store for his and Chloe's "honeymoon" in the Dark Fortress. Eight long weeks until we find out what else Lana will be up to and eight long weeks until we find out how a barely alive Lex Luthor got his hands on that wedding video.

On last night's season finale of America's Next Top Model, the final three girls had one more Cover Girl commercial and print ad to shoot before making it to the final runway show. Analeigh, whose commercial shoots have been one of her strengths, completely blanked in front of the camera. When the judges were neither impressed with her best commercial take or her print ad, they eliminated her from the competition. Today, Analeigh spoke to BuddyTV in an exclusive interview, reflecting on her Top Model experience.

Ghost Whisperer brings us what it calls “the most romantic episode ever” as it offers a peek upon its own “Heart and Soul.” On the last installment of the series, fans were left with their jaws on the floor about what happened to Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Jim (David Conrad). Now, the show gives the couple a chance to relive their relationship with a whole new perspective.
On “Heart and Soul,” Melinda finds herself drawn to a man (identified as Sam or Jim) who is suffering from amnesia. This stirs up her selfless need to help those around her, causing her to assist the man in regaining his memory. This enthusiasm of hers might just come with a price, when she realizes that she has to do everything it takes to make this second chance work.

With longtime cast members leaving and many other characters preparing to go to college, this season of Friday Night Lights feels like the end. I hope that's not the case, as I don't know if I can handle losing FNL, Pushing Daisies and Battlestar Galactica in the same season, but if these do end up being the final episodes at least we can say the show went out on top. This week's Friday Night Lights follows Jason and Tim to New York City, where Jason hopes to land a job as a sports agent. If you don't get a little choked up watching Tim say goodbye to his best friend, it's possible you're a soulless robot.

If season 2 taught Heroes fans anything, it's that a really long patch of bad episodes can occasionally lead to oneHeroes or two good ones. I've been critical of the painfully clunky storytelling in the past few episodes, but the Heroes team seems to be doing something about it: they got Seth Green and Breckin Meyer.
As anyone who's ever seen an episode of Robot Chicken knows, these two are incredibly funny guys who know a whole lot about comic books and geek culture. As a rule, putting Seth Green in something is usually a way to make it better (see the season premiere of My Name is Earl or his episodes of Entourage). In that respect, Seth Green is a lot like the acting equivalent of cinnamon.
