Taylor Doose's devotion to the rule of law is what makes him both a great and terrible politician. To his credit, the market owner followed all the rules and truly wanted the best for the citizens of Stars Hollow. The problem was his disciplined and strict adherence to all the rules made life dull. The town briefly voted him out, but upon learning how much work and effort it took to run the town, Taylor was put back into office.

Alexis Bledel epitomizes beauty, youthfulness and glamor as manifested in her numerous recognitions in the showbiz world. Named as one of Teen People Magazine's 25 Hottest Stars under 25 and acquiring the Family Television Award for Best Actress for her performance in Gilmore Girls in 2002 definitely proves she has what it takes to make it big.

Alexis Bledel, the product of one Mexican and one Argentinean parent, grew up in Houston, Texas speaking only Spanish. It wasn't until grade school that she mastered English. On Gilmore Girls, Bledel put that mastery to use, espousing her dialogue in the patented rapid-fire delivery that Gilmore Girls was known for.
Prior to landing her part as Rory Gilmore on the Gilmore Girls, Bledel spent her childhood working as a model. It wasn't until an audition came along for Gilmore Girls that she began acting.

At one time or another, every Gilmore Girls fan wanted Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Christopher (David Sutcliffe) to end up together. Maybe it was just for a second, then you went back to longing for Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai to finally get together, but there was certainly a time when the appeals of Christopher won out. Early on, he was the rebel, the young kid unable to be a father who took off to live his own life.

To be honest, this entire list could be made up of maternal moments from Gilmore Girls. The show is all about the relationship between mother and daughter. A close second on this list was the final scene from the first season episode “Rory's Dance,” when Rory (Alexis Bledel) doesn't come home, leading to a series of epic screaming matches that just underscore how much these Gilmore women love each other.
