Sally tells Oz that his re-opening of the club so soon is an insult to Macy. He tries to convince her that he can‘t afford not to re-open. Bridget defends Oz to Sally, but after she leaves admits that she doesn‘t think he should re-open. Much to Amber‘s delight, he says he‘s going ahead as scheduled. Nick tells his mother that he‘s going to leave town. She realises it‘s because he can‘t bear to watch Brooke with Ridge, but will never interfere. She begs him to stay so he can be there for the wedding. Thorne is equally incensed to hear of the club re-opening, but rather than confront Oz, goes with Darla to a sonogram.
